I am a 72 years old woman. I just follow your video showed and I install the valve in half an hour. Thank you so very much you made my retirement times so wonderful. Thank you again.
Thank you so much. The instructions provided with the fill valve were useless to me, as were the 3 videos I watched before I found this one. It was extremely helpful for me, someone who is not good at this kind of thing.
Thank you so much, instructions on the box told me absolutely nothing about what to do with the loose parts that came separate. Fixed my toilet in half an hour 😊
Thank you so much! I have no idea why this wasn’t mentioned in the instructions, on the website, or in on the diagram on the box! Not everybody is a plumber and gets the “no brainer” things. Again, thank you.
I don’t usually interact on TH-cam, but I watched multiple videos on installing this unit, and none showed the valve in the water line that you shouldn’t lose, or exactly what to do with the red gasket. I followed the instructions as best I could and still had a leak, and your video showed me exactly why. Thank you for such an informative video! Definitely the best instructions I found as a first timer to doing any type of toilet repair. ❤❤
5:15 the red gasket should either (1) be already installed onto the brass shaft when new in box or (2) have a hole so the buyer does not need a knife to produce a hole. I bought this model and returned it for the classic plastic shaft which was $6 less and already had the rubber gasket on the shaft. This brass shaft version is much more work and not worth the hassle.
Good visual instructions with proper subtitles for each section. Nicely done. Music a bit monotonous when no speech so volume tuned off. My fitting of this particular model with a plastic shaft instead of brass, had real problems of space in the cistern so had to use curved mole grips to hold the shaft whilst tightening cold feed supply which was not the lovely flexible hose you have in the video. Access to the area around a toilet is also not always so simple, so it is good to have a complete instructional video like this. Thanks and well done.
Learning about video production, editing. I appreciate your feedback tremendously. Most importantly, I am very happy that the video was helpful to you all. Thank you.
Thanks toilet running fir ages fixed it myself. Showed pic of what I had to bug box depot and they sold me a flapper that my toilet didn’t even have 🙄. Easy to follow your video. On to more repairs.
@Michelle Kern that feeling after you have fixed is just so fulfilling, don’t you agree. Good luck with future repairs. I am glad the video was helpful.
Good job. If you want more water in your tank you can raise the post so the float is higher ... It looks like your water level should be a few inches higher..
@@thisisfbp Seriously watching you work cleaning the tank. Perfect capture with video of the work done, trimming the bottom rubber seal, meticulous perfect. So much better than anyone else regarding 400A. Thanks to you I got to Home Depot and back to house did the job and all was perfect. no leaks no problems. take care
