I love the idea of you raising the height to build on to make it more comfortable for you to work on it, no sense in straining yourself. I'm going to see if I can insulate my own, need it to run silently and helps keep it cool too. Can't wait to see the smile on your face when you ride it for the first time.
Hi mate, thanks for watching! I got them from Ali Express, and like most parts on the kart they had to be modified. If you have the cash, probably worth investing in parts from the US.
I’ll be going over my stands in the wrap up video. Have you built a kart yet? If you know someone with a paddock in Brisbane or surrounds let us know 😂
@@junkyardracer57 no I only found out about the karts this week and started to look for parts but at the price of the wheels I don't think I'm going to have the money sadly , but I'm still looking around, where did you get your wheels from,
We’re trying to make friends with people who have big flat paddocks 😂 Not like the States at all that’s for sure, I had fun driving karts down the streets in Bonneville!
@@junkyardracer57 i live near bathurst nsw, if children get caught riding electric scooters here they get charged unlicensed unregistered and uninsured and the fine is $1800 , jeez if i put my daughter in a go cart like that they pop all her tyres cut her ignition, make up charges, fine her the 1800 and impound the cart and charge 27 dollars per day they kept it in impound... thats the police state i live in currently..
A great start
Thanks Neil, looking forward to the first test drive!

That’s australia in general unfortunately. We’ll find a secluded spot to give it a run.
