Very helpful info since I am considering picking up a 2004 950. Already have the little brother (640 ADV). Will check with the seller on status of water pump and other maintenance items you mentioned.
Hi. I am in Nairobi, Kenya and interested in KTM 990 Adventure front end {forks (the long ones), calipers, rotors, wheel, tripple clamp, e.t.c.}. Where can I buy them? Approximate cost?
Thank you for the video!! So much useful and interesting information. I have been riding my 950 ADV since 2019, had 5k miles, now at 26k. I absolutely love this bike. Once its going it really feels weightless and inspires lots of confidence. I try to ride it off road as much as possible (mainly because the knobbies wear so quickly on pavement), on its 20k plus miles with me it has really given me no issues at all! which impresses me since I've often heard how common water pump, fuel pump and clutch issues 950s come with. After passing the 24k mile mark, I wonder if I should sell :/ maybe to get a more modern adventure bike, specially now that I'm literally waiting for the fuel or water pump to go plus other common issues with these bikes... but at the same time I feel like this really is a keeper, something to treasure and keep as long as possible. Any comments or suggestions?
Loads of info and detail. Fawk i hate computer voices though.
Hi there great video, so year do you reckon is the best to buy?
I own the 2010 990R...apparently the 2012 was a great year, i guess they sorted out issues in the later models..💪

Great stuff, just make sure the normal known issues get attended to..
@@FranksWay What would be the other known issues needing attending?

Thank you for the kind comments
Maybe get the 990...or just sort out the known issues and keep the 950...
I would definitely keep the steed. Do the maintenance and run it
