Hello could you share where to buy the LM sticker kit ?

The three yellow wires on my rd07 have melted the Plug. Sometimes it has no electricity at all...if i move the cables a bit power comes back. She starts but drives only with a massive loss of power. She has 160000km on her back. Change the rectifier? I already renewed the connection. The loss of power comes after 10 min. of riding, if she doesnt turn off before

What grease do you recommend for the o-ring? Are you worried about getting that grease into the fluid?

Thanks Frank! After more than 15 years, I can't bear to let my 990 go so your tips are helpful. For those that might have an issue with the pad laying against each other when you are trying to get them on the disk (as Frank mentions at 00:03:00) try making a spacer with some stiff cardboard that keeps the pads separated but can be pulled out easily when you get the disk in.

You are a diamond... I have a RD04 (i've had it a long time..) I don't want to go crazy off road on it. I need something else, I don't want a CRF1000... they are a fat joke. You've just planted the mother of ideas in my head. THANK YOU :) x

When took off fuel injection part under the air box - it's good idea to check cooling pipe what's came between both cylinders. After good amount of time - this pipe looses its natural strength and can blow. Its good to change it after some time (like 50k km).

just bought this bike :D tempted to do some offroading

I have that Mosfet rectifier, where I have to rotate it about 45 degrees (only on the RD04), to make it fit with the big plugs. But goddamit it's hard to get the sidepanel on after that. Because of the hole, just above the rectifier, where the panes slides in. Also I have the Heavy Duty rear rack system, which is squeezed between the exhaust and the sidepanel. The sidepanel feels like it's gonna break or tear my seat eveytime I try to squeeze it in there. I´m thinking about just breaking that stud of the sidepanel. It probably no problem, because there are still 2 screws holding it.

The last bike I built ended up with a swapped engine, forks, swingarm, wheels, rear shocks, and eventually an entirely different frame. When I look at the NC700x stripped of it's bodywork, the design is amazing. I think it will be the base for my perfect adventure bike build. I think it will end up looking like a Halfrica Twin.

Hi Frank. Sorry,me again! I’m must have the worst AT. Bike keeps blowing starter,fuel,ignition fuse after seconds of starting,but my continuity test said 0.5-0.6 to both. Do i still have to check all wiring for brake or could rectifier be sending too much power? Also is 60 amp rectifier too much for xrv750? Cheers😊
