I share your love of Foxgloves. I've had them pop up in all different places where they've self seeded and I couldn't have placed them better myself. Last year I bought a plant from a local garden centre and it's called a Chinese Foxglove. That's very nice too. Hope you're both okay after your ordeal at the weekend. Hopefully this one will be a better one for both of you. Take care. xxx
They are really good at putting themselves in great places. I've seen the Chinese ones at the garden centre but haven't grown them before. Andrew still taking it easy and we're hoping for a better weekend 🙏. Thanks for your concern Wendy, take care xxxx
Another great video 👍🏼😀 I collected some seeds a couple of years ago but never got round to sowing them, do you think the seeds will still be viable? 😊
@@MadAboutGardeningthanks and also thanks for all your replies and help, much appreciated 😊 keep the videos coming…if it wasn’t 33 degrees in my garden I’d be off to plant my foxgloves! Think I’ll let it cool down a bit first 😅
@Chickp424 You're very welcome Paula. It's been a scorcher today hasn't it! I think it will be much cooler tomorrow and into the weekend so more bearable to be outside.
@janettidswell2092 We keep ours on the shelves of the mini greenhouse which is uncovered. They don't need any special treatment after sowing, just leave them somewhere a little sheltered.

Thanks so much 👍 Yes, give the seeds a try as they should be fine for many years providing they have been stored in a cool dry place 😀

Once sown, where do you keep the seed trays until they are ready for potting on?
@janettidswell2092 We keep ours on the shelves of the mini greenhouse which is uncovered. They don't need any special treatment after sowing, just leave them somewhere a little sheltered.
@@MadAboutGardening Thank you. I have a slim plastic greenhouse so that should be ok.
@janettidswell2092 Perfect 👍
You mention that you sow the seeds in compost? Do you mean seed raising mix?
We're using multipurpose compost. A seed raising mix will also do the job perfectly.
