Already got cosmic red as soon as it was released and it is absolutely gorgeous. Bit weird that depending on whatever light the controller is under it looks more purpleish in a pure white light but otherwise it looks vastly nicer than the pure white base controller, I wouldn't mind getting a midnight black as well.
I just want a grey controller, black controller with a blue bottom as well as a white controller with a blue bottom. these are ok though the black one does look better imo.

I've gotta be honest, when I opened my Cosmic Red DualSense, I was really disappointed. I thought it looked kinda pinkish/maroonish compared to the almost "crimson red" it looked like in the adverts. But, after having a look and fondle with my mate's Midnight Black one, I'm glad I didn't go with that (greasy fingerprint nightmare), and since then the Cosmic Red has really grown on me. Someone mocked up a purple one - which looks absolutely fantastic. If you Google "Ratchet and Clank purple DualSense" you'll see what I'm talking about it. I'd buy that instantly!
my favorite controller is the original controller because of the white button layout! As a kid i owned the white darth vader PSP and the buttons here remind me of it in my childhood!
I’m on the fence about which one I like more. The ps5 controller design is simply a great one. I personally believe just about any color scheme would work for the controller.
My favourite dualsence is the white one, because it's more futuristic and has this different stormtrooper look!!! But I do also like the black controller.

The midnight black one is definitely the best, that's how the controller should've been at launch, just like the PS2, PS3 and PS4 controllers. Now we just need the right colours to come back for the face buttons.
I too have both the pulse red series X controller and the Cosmic red PS5 controller, and I'm kinda glad that they aren't the same type of red. Like them both.
At this point I’m going with the Black! Bonus info: As for DualShock 4 my Fav color would have to be the the 2018 Spider-Man Red & White! But don’t use it because of the white sticks get dirty & discolor with use, lol thanks 😊
I still don’t have a PlayStation 5. I did buy my 1st PS5 controller today. I bought the Cosmic Red. I bought it so I can play games on my IPad Pro 2020 and soon I hope on the 2021. Works really well so far. I bought the new Xbox One S controller and it kept disconnecting at random times. It may have costed more, but WOW! Seriously, look at that controller. I hope I will own a PS5 scalper free one of these days! Happy Trails!
@@SpawnPoiint Its pretty fun. I am impressed with the controller has a great design and it's not such a huge change swapping from an Xbox controller to the new PS5. Would prefer a battery option where I can put my own inside. 3 hours is a longtime to charge. 😄
matte black just looks so good on anything. at this point all companies should compulsorily have a white and matte black options on thier products by default.
I wish we could have seen the red and white on the charging block. I’m having a hard time picking a color. I want the red, but the black and white sitting on the charger together looks good.
The midnight black is way better than the colourware, I like the new colours but I’m going to stick with my white original one until they hopefully come out with a blue controller 👍

Seeing you with four PS5 controllers makes me miss the days of 4-player split screen games with mates. I wish they'd bring that back in some capacity. On another note, it doesn't seem popular but I really like the Cosmic Red DualSense controller.

It's interesting you say it looks like a dark blue because the rep who talked about the galaxy inspiration of these controllers also mentioned that there's a subtle blue hue thrown into both the red and black colors. I received my black one yesterday and personally don't see it but I'm really liking it.
The PS4 and 5 both look better in white. Really fits the futuristic aesthetic the consoles have. Naturally the controllers look better in white as well.

But when there's a lot of light it starts to have that pink tint. I think you would have to see it in person to really have an opinion on it

Just got my red one…..it’s the best by far! Kind of reminds me of the same red as the phantom pain PS4 when that came out!!! Love it! 👍🏼
