If you have still "gaz in the tank" you didn't train to failure !
You trained to your own MENTAL failure ! ( Quite different ...)...and also different from one person to another
That's why Mentzer advocate doing his training mainly with a partner to push you out of your mental limits (..and muscular )
Doing this alone is not really the Mentzer way..at least not most of it .
Try the same training.....with a spotter............. 😉
