That's a very nice finish. I got a bit worried when I saw the chalkiness of the flat red coat but then the wash gave it an amazing colour depth. One minor observation, though: special colour fighters would normally denote an ace of some variety, wouldn't the pilot have special uniform as well? There is precedent for it in canon. Of course it is up to you, it's your story to tell :)
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I agree with the pilot. The problem was that I couldn't find much about red tie fighters on the internet. And when I noticed that the pilot should also be red, unfortunately it was too late. I hope it's not that bad.
