Thank you very much for this, I was wondering how would I notate those pitches on an alto flute, (should I just consider transposing them a 4th? or with this fingering it will sound differently?)
an open hole flute has more possibilities. But most notes should be possible on a flute with closed holes, they just need different fingerings sometimes.
Thank you for the demonstration! It is very helpful for composers :)
how about the bamboo tones fingering? thanks!

Thank you for your message! It probably will work on the alto flute. Most alto flutes have closed holes so you can not use those fingerings.
Thanks a lot!
When playing mocrotones do you need a open hole or a closed hole or any type to play this? I noticed half holes

Could you play some Arabic music, such as what Umm Kulthum sang, then? Peace.
