    I have two Case xx Bowie's and the Western Bowie, Love them. But after watching several of your videos I had to buy this bowie for my collection and use. For that price who cares what you put it through. Seems awesome. Love all your videos.

    I got myself one of these a while back and I love the thing. Only thing is if you leave it in the leather sheath it stains the blade pretty good.

    Man I thought I needed an expensive Puzon Wilderness Bowie, decided to try to sell it and pick up one of these SZCO Carbon steel bowies instead. I have a couple khukuris and figured this would suit my gear well. 👍

    I bought one and it is a great knife. I beat the heck out of mine and it is a work horse. Mine cost me $26 on Amazon w/ free shipping. The guard came loose. I wrapped some thin wire between the handle and guard and no more wiggles. I'm taking it camping this October to the mountains and am going to abuse it like a rented mule. I have zero doubt it will perform great.

  • @timbo4374
    @timbo4374 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I actually have one of these. The fit and finish is junk, but it's a beast for use. I figured it's a project knife for me..I planned to do like you, replace the handle, hand rub satin the blade. I just never got around to it. I keep using it as my beater, and other than a slight rattle in the guard, it's still holding up to all the abuse I've put it through. I'd still like to at the very least sand and refinish the handle if not replace it, and sand out all the scratches on the blade, but even if I never do..for $20 bucks, it's hard to find a better beater. All I've done to the edge is strop or lightly hone it on a ceramic rod.

Perhaps I can make a video on it. I just bought a new knife for my birthday 24 of February it is a Buck 119 nice classic. I'm thinking about getting a Condor Hutson Bay knife. I enjoy your videos 👊🔪
