Bro you sold me on that bowl. It is beautiful and rugged. The word budget is thrown around a lot. Like you said 20,or 200 bucks,if it works,it works. Enjoy all your work. Keep on keeping the edge
Love you Donnie. Have been praying for y'all! What a beautiful blade! Love the shape. I'd carry that all day no problem. Crazy..they could sell that for $200 easy! One mod I'd do is sharpen the clip point (swedge) for an awesome back cut. Peace brother. Rock on my friend!
That's definitely for stick Hogs & Pigs or other things of that sort. Just a phenomenal Clip Point with a good Up Swept Tip for peering with ease. Cool Bowie Blade Dbad 😎⚔️😎
Thanks for the vid, bro... appreciate the lower dallah reviews too! I have heard of the modern "damascus" peeling laminations, but have never actually seen it. Caused by inadequate heating at the forge, probably, or insufficient hammering. A beauty of a knife.. hunting, fishing and campsite. Where were knives like that when I was a kid in what once was America?
Well Donnie, you made me buy yet another Bowie! I just ordered one... how big of an issue is the flaking Damascus? Should that be happening to real Damascus, or is it some kind of applied finish?
I clearly used the knife in a way it isn't designed. It proved though that it's real damascus. While batoning, a sliver of wood snuck in a void so small it went unseen. So it just folded a small part of a single layer. Filed right out.
Bro, if "Damascus" separates like that it is a sign of very poorly made steel. There must be cold shuts, bubbles and the layers are not properly welded together. Something like that should not ever happen, especially that easily. This is one reason I will happily buy a mono-steel blade from Pakistan, but I will NEVER buy anything from them that is supposedly made of Damascus. I have a handful of examples here in my possession, and ALL of them are way too soft and not properly heat-treated, most if not all are also not forge-welded to form homogenous steel. They are so bad that they cannot hold an edge AT ALL. I hope that that one is a fluke, but I have my doubts.
The edge is still sharp and the blade is taking a beating. It had a single area where a folder are was ground down leaving a flake that wasn't attached to anything. A micro sliver got into it. The knife is fine. It proves its real Damascus thats for sure! Haha
@@DonnieBAllDay 100% real Damascus, that is for sure. Glad it was a localized issue. The good points are that it is definitely hard enough to maintain the edge.
Love that clip point! Beautiful Blade
Definitely a looker
it fits it's context really well.
absolutely

That’s a stabby looking beast. Similar to the Condor Undertaker. Similar.
Handle wise, completely different blade shape though
Good looking knife! Looks alot like the bowie knife that are on the way to me from the Khhi

All it tales is a thin sliver to find a tiny gap
Dude, I have looked far and wide for that knife and can't find it anywhere. Can you hook me up with that knife. Great vid as always.
I put the amazon link. Check to see if it's still up
