I was born and grew up in Kuwait, then was back there from 2009 - 2012 working. My parents moved back here a couple of years ago after living there for 40 years. Kuwait has changed so so much, from when I was born, to after the invasion, to rebuilding the country in the 90s, to the 00s to now. In the three years I was there from 2009 to 2012 it changed loads, and visiting my sister about a year and a half ago it was different from when I left in 2012. I love Kuwait and it has a very special place in my heart, but for me I will always love the Kuwait of the late 90s, when Johnny Rockets and Fudruckers had just opened, and when Al Bustan mall was the main shopping centre. Love it!

Woow really nice video!!, Don't give up keep making videos and you'll the best vlogger out there. That really inspired me of making videos that is coming after Ramadan Inshalla and hoping u the best Bro💜✨✨
Today is the first day for me in Kuwait . I keep crying ( my eyes are bloody red ) I came with mom dad and sis and ma bro . I cry because I know I won't go back to England after 6 months . I missed my aunts and uncles and cousins . My cousin calls me mum which breaks my heart.
Thank you for your video... Recently I received a job proposal in Kuwait and your Vlog allows me to get a valuable insight into what I can expect from living there...
Cameron Rose Morgan that’s a 100% normal thing there are thousands of non muslim people live here and a lot of muslim women don’t wear hijab so you would not be recognized .. we also have a church if you were christian .
6Ab _ thank you so much :) I am thinking about moving there in a few years that’s why I asked. My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and I am kind of scared
The young boys driving the Utility cars called Pick-up trucks or fancy Vanettes made by RAM, Dodge, GM etc are absolutely crazy. Best is to let them cross and don't react. They love to showoff their skills to others. Non Kuwaits aren't allowed to own a pickup truck as per Kuwaits constitution of Feb 1981, as they can be used as an illegal taxi. In one instance a group of these guys crossed like 10 cm from my car at a speed of 150kmph and I flashed at them in shock. They stopped to confront me. I apologized to them (as i was with my wife and kids) as I didn't want to get harassed or beaten or arrested, which is common if you provoke them further. Let them have their high nose and just move out of their way ! They threw cans and trashbags at my car as I drove past them. Horrible experience!
Can you also vlog how they treat their foreign employees? The perks of being a Westerner employees vs non westerners in terms of the free accomodation, salaries and benefits etc.
guardianeyes77 you know the rules you have seen the contract its up to u to sign or not and you signed so it is your problem dear don't blame the people for your ignorance
yeah. cus western employs have good degrees and come work hard. but non westerns didn't even finish school. of course they will be treated differently and have more salaries.
Khalid Alshammari are you implying "non westerners" are not hard working ? It's an Arab country and 80-85% are expatriates who work in both public and private sector and out of this about 70% are "non westerners". Moreover, how dare you say these people are not educated? They too have graduates and degrees and would be extremely paid if it weren't for the racial discrimination your country exibits. Anyhow, I don't even want to start lecturing about how educated Arabs are. So please.
ahaha. u have no idea what you talking about. 90% of Asians that are working in Kuwait have no education. and the 10% that have degrees have good jobs and paid equal to the westerns. in office jobs westerns and non westerns are paid equally and treated equally. but u cant compare an Indian street cleaner or Philippine burger king cashier to a western doctor and want us to treat them equally. of course thats not gonna happen.
My bf just moved to Michigan, USA from Kuwait & the way he described it was so different. It looks so much more busy there than here too; I hope I can travel one day. Thanks for showing around :)
You don’t get arrested for having your phone out. You can do whatever you want. Record yourself or the view. If anyone doesn’t want to be in them you can just record yourself. And people aren’t used to seeing a person vlogging so that’s about it. I can go around recording myself and not get arrested.
Gaming HDD! No in some places you’re not allowed to record cuz like especially for the women but you’re right he’s not gonna get arrested for HAVING HIS PHONE OUT. He’s overreacting
When I lived in Kuwait from 1992-1997, electricity , water and landline was freeeee! Hospital and clinics were free and medication was also freeeee! And, they gave so much freeee food if you had to stay at the hospital. I managed to get through 45 degrees once 😂
Your trip was in bad time for visiting Kuwait . " summer " You should visit Kuwait in winter .. between November - March The weather in winter is very good and sometimes rainy also the land is full of spring's planet and flowers .
You just showed the bad side I'm Egyptian in Kuwait and yes life here is not the best but there is alot fun and beautiful places to be filmed .. and BTW there is kettle in the supermarket
@@noniyaGirl seriously!?.. you can visit and see all this establishments that you are talking in one or two days!... then thats the end of your tour in kuwait!
Jhay Cee first of all its not a tourism country and for a country located in the middle of the desert its not that bad, you should go to sudan or kenya to know what "beautiful places" really mean 😂 and why are you so upset about it?
I’m enjoying my stay here in kuwait. I’m already 4 years now. This is my first country where i work to. But i can say that Kuwait is a good place. One country where you can see different kind of races.
You should check the weather for dust storms they announce it in advance. I used to check the weather daily for rain when I lived in in the UK. I hated walking around getting wet. Umbrellas don’t work especially in the fall where it’s so windy and it will get ruined. So when there is a sand storm stay at home.
@@orchidroses2 hii i was looking forward to work in kuwait but this guy said the food is expensive. i try to look up everywhere mostly said the food are cheap. can u explain from your POV? thank you
I'm from Venezuela, and I've been living in Kuwait 7 months, and I agree with other many comments, u didn't show the whole picture, Kuwait is way better than the things that I showed just saying, I mean u could've showed the Kuwait city or something.
Frankly, I loved you with all my heart, and I was honored that you are in my dear country, but most Kuwaitis do not travel to their homes in the Maldives, Philippine islands, or Switzerland or Austria. In short, they love wonderful places and they have resorts in the countries of the world. Thank you to those who visit us and adore us.❤️🇰🇼
On regards to getting a kettle from the supermarket it depends on what “town” you live in, if your close to the city you will most definitely find one, the people that you filmed and said that they don’t like to be filmed to that I say most Kuwaitis are okay with being filmed if you asked them before, you mostly asked not Kuwaiti people and also I am reading the comments and most people are saying that Kuwaiti people think that they are “higher than the rest” there are Kuwaitis like that and it saddens me but the fact is that most of the Kuwaitis who live in the places next to the city are very friendly! And you can’t get arrested for filming lol, it’s only that people don’t like a camera being stuck to there faces, every country has good and bad people and that inevitable, change is something that needs to happen and sadly it is slow but please to everyone watching this video dont assume that because the one or two experiences you had or heard were bad that the whole country is bad, I am a 17 year old born and raised in Kuwait and have friends from different background and I plan to study in the uk and all my family from both sides are really kind! Yes Kuwait is not a county for tourists but if you go to Kuwait and find one Kuwaiti that is willing to show you the country( the most visited malls and such ) you will love the country and most of its people . Lastly to anyone reading this have a good rest of your day
ayeee man this is the second video i’ve watched of yours and i’m liking ur channel so far!! i’m from the US and i’ve lived in Kuwait for a bit too it’s a cool country

I have been watching ur vids for about 2 weeks now without knowing u live in Kuwait. I was shocked when I found this vid. I am an Egyptian girl living in Kuwait. It is a very safe country in my opinion. Of course it has its ups and downs, but thats like every other country in the world. Other than that, It’s a great place. I dont have enough good things to say about it!
I think it would be more fun if you had a kuwaiti show you the places in kuwait but i’m glad you had a good experience
Go on searching...Kuwait has a lot of beautiful places..I've been in Kuwait and lived there for a year..and during winter season most Kuwaiti people loves to stay in desert.. I'm not Kuwaiti but I love Kuwait😘

Thank you man some people think we arabs are very rich but we're humble as hell
Saleh Bunashi أغلبنا أغنياء ومافي فقراء بالكويت في على قد حالهم بس الأغلب الاغلب اغنياء🤷🏻♀️

LOL
True, it's a pretty silly thing to say. There are no Kettles in Kuwait.. LOL! Try Alghanim bro!
I was so surprised when you spoke Arabic, you speak so well 🙌🏻
Today is the first day for me in Kuwait . I keep crying ( my eyes are bloody red ) I came with mom dad and sis and ma bro . I cry because I know I won't go back to England after 6 months . I missed my aunts and uncles and cousins . My cousin calls me mum which breaks my heart.
hope you settle in and enjoy your time here
Thank you for your video... Recently I received a job proposal in Kuwait and your Vlog allows me to get a valuable insight into what I can expect from living there...
Siarhei Semashka i live there you can ask me any question
6Ab _ hey I have a question, what is it like for non Muslim women to live in Kuwait?
Cameron Rose Morgan
that’s a 100% normal thing there are thousands of non muslim people live here and a lot of muslim women don’t wear hijab so you would not be recognized .. we also have a church if you were christian .
6Ab _ thank you so much :) I am thinking about moving there in a few years that’s why I asked. My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship and I am kind of scared
Kuwait is a beautiful place. It's my home away from home. For me every day is happening. Food is awesome and roads are great.
“They drive like maniacs”
Me: *LAUGHS SO LOUD* So True!
HeyImMary Everything he said was 100% accurate and I am speaking from experience.
@@cruyffssoul2397 Nah mate
THE_ONLY _KILLER_YT What isn’t accurate in the video then!
Khalid Alshammari stfu
My bf just moved to Michigan, USA from Kuwait & the way he described it was so different. It looks so much more busy there than here too; I hope I can travel one day. Thanks for showing around :)
you are such a genuine person , i really enjoyed this video
تحية مغربية للشعب الكويتي الشقيق.
Waw if you still in Kuwait I’ll be happy to show you different places 😍
When I lived in Kuwait from 1992-1997, electricity , water and landline was freeeee! Hospital and clinics were free and medication was also freeeee! And, they gave so much freeee food if you had to stay at the hospital.
I managed to get through 45 degrees once 😂
Your trip was in bad time for visiting Kuwait . " summer "
You should visit Kuwait in winter .. between November - March
The weather in winter is very good and sometimes rainy also the land is full of spring's planet and flowers .
m
You just showed the bad side
I'm Egyptian in Kuwait and yes life here is not the best but there is alot fun and beautiful places to be filmed .. and BTW there is kettle in the supermarket
Beautiful places!? Like where?
Jhay Cee AlShaheed park, kuwait towers, bnaider beach, The avenues mall, 360 mall...etc
where? where? 😅
I have only just discovered your channel. What do you work as in Kuwait 🇰🇼?
My mom is Palestinian and she lived in Kuwait 🇰🇼 💓
I’m enjoying my stay here in kuwait. I’m already 4 years now. This is my first country where i work to. But i can say that Kuwait is a good place. One country where you can see different kind of races.
You should check the weather for dust storms they announce it in advance. I used to check the weather daily for rain when I lived in in the UK. I hated walking around getting wet. Umbrellas don’t work especially in the fall where it’s so windy and it will get ruined. So when there is a sand storm stay at home.
You didn’t go to beautiful places in Kuwait!
Welcom to Kuwait Anytime ✌🏻🌷🇰🇼
There are another side u didnt show man/ what are u doing with taxies and buses 😂😅😂
Dragan ball super watching in Kuwait.
Any animation?
(In Kuwait) ?
@@orchidroses2 hii i was looking forward to work in kuwait but this guy said the food is expensive. i try to look up everywhere mostly said the food are cheap. can u explain from your POV? thank you
Can you help me
I'm from Venezuela, and I've been living in Kuwait 7 months, and I agree with other many comments, u didn't show the whole picture, Kuwait is way better than the things that I showed just saying, I mean u could've showed the Kuwait city or something.
I am too born and brought up in Kuwait and currently living in India. This video made me miss Kuwait
I lived in Kuwait for 23 years and you could buy anything in the supermarket, vintage was my local.
I LOVE U KUWAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U R THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was shocked that you spoke Arabic very well! Hve you tried Egypt?
not yet Sally but soon I hope
Arabic Mike it's safe donn listen to any bullshit and I am here if you needed anything:)
Looks similar to Phoenix, Arizona with the blowing sand storm😂
Global Adventurer I am from Kuwait, and in 2014 I have moved to Tucson, Az. I just felt home and those days will last in memory for good.
Global Adventurer no it much better i live in Arizona
Global Adventurer Kuwait isn’t that cool to be honest. But mike did a pretty nice job to film
Unknown Error to you guys maybe but to us it’s heaven
Frankly, I loved you with all my heart, and I was honored that you are in my dear country, but most Kuwaitis do not travel to their homes in the Maldives, Philippine islands, or Switzerland or Austria. In short, they love wonderful places and they have resorts in the countries of the world. Thank you to those who visit us and adore us.❤️🇰🇼
I lived in Kuwait for 6 years and the kid at 9:17 was my best friend in shcool
It’s called corruption (the whole bus thing)
👌😘🙏👌😘
Lastly to anyone reading this have a good rest of your day
The country with the high currency on the planet.
Kaka Eagle exactly I literally paid 3 denars for 25 bottles , which is a lot .... right ?
Yara Sayed it’s 3 DINARS.. and tbh that’s not really very expensive.. honestly at all.. where u from? ☺️
@@sara_amarii_ 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ thats not the point and idk why you’re even correcting the spelling it’s not even an English word
Hey mike i wanted to ask u this ..the place u walk alot is it midan hawaly ? Close to the police station ? Looks very familiar..thanks
ayeee man this is the second video i’ve watched of yours and i’m liking ur channel so far!! i’m from the US and i’ve lived in Kuwait for a bit too it’s a cool country

Hello Dear
How are you doing today
I from india you know about India
I live in Kuwait and it’s amazing
I live also in Kuwait and at The local grosery you wont find a kettle but usually next to it there is a store called home essentials, you Will find it there that's where i got mine 😁 or at lulu hyper i have seen it there also. Good luck and Cheers!
Indira Martinez Lulu is like one of the best stores in Kuwait, of course the sultan centre is equally as good though!!
@@justfishy6417 you are right sultan is good. .. The thing why i dont shop there is that they dont have like international grocery area as lulu does i buy a few mexican things there 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
If it wasn’t for the language barrier a lot of people would be so much more welcoming 😅 i hope you had good years being in Kuwait ❤️
