I really appreciate that you mention these things about my country 💗 and you seeing it. I can’t stop smiling 💗 Thank you for being so nice by didn’t mention anything bad and I’m really sorry if you experienced bad things but you didn’t talk about it💗 Thank you for let me love my country again and more. I’m so proud 💗
I’m Saudi but one of my best childhood memories were in Kuwait cause we’ve got family there. My favorite things about Kuwait: 1) Kuwaiti people are fun and they’re down to do anything to have fun 2) I love how they love their country SO much and proud of it 3) their supermarkets “جمعية” the FOOD and chocolates from around the world.😋😋 4) I love how structured their house are. We don’t have that in Saudi. I probably love more stuff that I didn’t mention. But in general Kuwait is like another home and I love Kuwait.❤️❤️❤️
Try to taste sandwich icecream the silver one. Or any other icecream with kdd brand. Becareful kdd now kdc because the top one brand in kuwait and there is too many copy cats. Hope you enjoy your staying 🙈🙈
Man you don't realize how much you take for granted until you watch someone remind you of all the great things surrounding you in this little country you live in! I'm very glad I came upon your channel mate, cheers!
I was never interested about Kuwait and just happened to stumble upon this video. I am glad I did. They may argue and fight but at the end end of the day, family is the most important unit in the society. It's amazing how Kuwaitis value their family and the time spend with each other, it says a lot about their values and what matters in life despite being a rich country.
I definitely agree with your "Safe" point about Kuwait. I was born and raised there, and now living back here in the Philippines due to academic reasons. Most of the time, my parents would worry more about me going out here in our own country than me going out there. You could literally reasonably put your guards down whenever you're out. You won't get robbed because 1) People are scared, 2) People have what you have or they might even have a better one.
Many Kuwaitis including myself often take it for granted. Sometimes we just don't understand why people come to Kuwait and fall in love with it the way they do. Sure, it has its pros and cons like anywhere else, but the truth is that there is no country on this planet like Kuwait, the land that was lost in a few hours and was born again after 7 months of suffering. It went though a devastating war and many other rough times, but its spirit has always remained unchanged. It just charms whoever comes and visit. There's something about it that makes me never want to leave. I won't be able to put it into words, and many non-Kuwaitis living here share that same feeling.
Q8i Love it's a very good life in kuwait... we've been dying to move back... my mom's side is kuwaiti and dad's side is Italian American.... we miss Kuwait and would love to go back....
Actually I've been living in Kuwait for 10 years and this made me cry because i miss it so much..I LOVE KUWAIT P.S. (i'm studying in Turkey that's why)
I'm a 28 year old American, Been here in Kuwait for nearly 2 years, and I absolutely love living here in Kuwait. The culture, the history, how friendly people are, and just discovery Kuwait.
Lovely video .. especially the last part when you said it's dry and calm .. everyone thinks they should behave like the west and live the way that they do but seeing ur appreciation of the gulf lifestyle warms my heart .. thank you for the positivity xx
All i can say to you is thanks every thing you said about kuwait is positive their are many people that came to kuwait just to make money and after the left they said every negative thing about kuwait, sorry for taking your time wish you the best keep up the good work
Official Royale if Canada there’s more opportunities I’d say move to Canada but definitely go back often to Kuwait or stay in touch with family. All will be good
To be honest, I didn’t expect that this video is going to be this good. That shows that you understand our country so much. I studied in USA for one year, and I agree with you 100 percent on each point you mentioned.
Im Kuwaiti and I just wanted to thank you for showing the reality of our country unlike many opinionated ideas that have been thrown out there. There are many positive things as there are negative things in Kuwait but in my opinion, the positive things outweigh the negative by a lot. So thank you for representing my country in this positive way and for what it really is. Oh and your Kuwaiti accent is pretty good.
Hi Mike. I too lived in Kuwait for 4 years. I agree with everything you said. Kuwait was the best experience of my life and life changing! It's a great place to live and I'm so glad you enjoyed it too!
Its really refreshing seeing a foreigner be this geniunely kind towards Kuwait. Even more admirable that you were a teacher here-meaning you had that same attitude with your students, which was something I did not experience with my own foriegn teachers before. Going to school felt like I was going to be constantly looked down on for my culture and country by those who were supposedly my “mentors”. The worst part is that being young and impressionable, it got to many of us at the time. So you can only imagine my surprise seeing somone like you say what you are saying about my culture and people. Thank you so much for your outlook and your kindness. Very refreshing.
YAAAS!!! My favorite time of the day of kuwait is when it hits 4pm. The weather is the best. I miss kuwaiti ice cream too and everything you said about it.
I lived in Kuwait a long long time ago back in the late 70s till the early 80s while my old man worked there as an engineer. I really enjoyed your video Mike, and can relate to some of the things you mentioned. You are right about the strong communities the Kuwaitis have; they are very mild-mannered moderate people who have very strong values and family ranks high among them. Back in England in the 70s before I went to Kuwait, we played much more outside playing football, or climbing trees, and we did far more with families than I notice they ever do now, though of course crime has risen exponentially in England compared to back then. That said, even going to Kuwait in the late 70s I noticed the difference between England and Kuwait, Of course you are also lucky in some ways in that you have experienced a more modern Kuwait to the one I had; the last time I was there was back in 1987.Oh and we also lived for a short while in Salmiya before moving else where in Kuwait city, seeing that you mentioned Salmiya in the clip Oh, and I remembered those ice cream biscuits! We had them going round on the beaches even back then!. I haven't yet watched your fulll video of your year living in Kuwait so I will be looking at that later! Ciao and nice video btw!
I feel excited when a notice comes from your channel. You are a great person and I hope you will reach fame. I will always follow you and never come back from Kuwait❤️🇰🇼
Thank you so much I always appreciate comments like this - it's the kind comments and the likes and the positivity I get back which keeps me uploading!!
You open our eyes on small fun things in our Country that unfortunately we don’t appreciate it that much.... & we always complain .... but thanks for the reminder .....
This warmed my heart. As I am studying abroad at the moment, everything you mentioned made me feel homesick. I'm glad you had a good time in our country.

Hey ! I just wanted to say that I love your videos about Kuwait! I’m currently out of the country but I do get home sick and you just start showing parts of the country and the streets it’s just so nice and the things you say are nice and positive too so thanks!
It’s nice to hear your prospective of Kuwait, we tend to be quite negative about ourselves.. I got really positive feelings from your videos...thank you
Thank you very much for this video, your observation and your positive thoughts about them are so sweet. I am actually studying abroad in the U.S. and watching this video made me smile and miss home.
Its great that you showed all the good things in kuwait , many ppl think that kuwait is boring or like just hot and theres desert everywhere! Ur such a cool guy and maybe one day i can take you around and show you fun places you havent seen and help you film some awesome stuff! Enjoy bro

As a Kuwaiti, every weekend (Friday after salat al juma'a ) my whole family gather in someone's house from almost noon to night and just sit together and have lunch, drink tea and just chill and talk. In fact, most of the Kuwaiti families do that on the weekends. We call it "Zwarah". And omg I' m craving that ice cream sandwich right now :'(!! I wish I am in Kuwait now! the food is amazing like no where else.
This is thing which i like in kuwaiti people family gathering is awsome they love each other and respect each other too much which make me realize to be like them
Friday’s are the best for family reunions since from the name in arabic and I’m pretty sure u know “يوم الجمعة” after the prayers on early noon we head out to our grandparents where we see all of our aunts and uncles and cousins and just sit down eat lunch , talk and chat have fun and do some cool events
In Kuwait (coming from a Kuwaiti) not every family is very close but a lot are. for me I’m so close to my family, I meet my cousins every week at my grandmas (at least once a week which is in Friday!) and we love to hang out and cook together! It’s fun !!
I am from Kuwait. I like to hear other people thoughts and impressions about Kuwait in general, our language, and our culture. Thanks for sharing your impressions =)
Next time u're here try the KDD one, the difference is night and day. Mainly the chocolate tastes better... its as if one was made by a chef and the other was made by a 12 year old. portofood.com/img/p/5/2/6/526-home_default.jpg
yeah its true the fact that Kuwait families are strict...having Experiancing it...but i really like it a lot...Families staying together we get the LOVE...And am sooo sooo happy{ just cant stop smiling} and proudly saying that yeah we do have a good a accent...and i really like it and proud....ITS so good speaking it ....i really feel happier brother and i would like to see more videos like these....loving my COUNTRY KUWAIT soooo much and am a proud KUWAITY.

This is so surreal watching!!!!!! I’m Lebanese & p much grew up in Kuwait (12yrs) now living in London for almost 5 years! Visit beirut & some fancyyyyy restaurants in kuwait

Hi mike everytime I watch your videos, the place where i Ieave for 1 year makes me cry. Miss the people, everything. The foods, weather it Makes me emotional. Ilove Q8,
I thank you for this video! Its so weird how I never appreciate Kuwait that much! I mean the sunset and family time! I always loved the rain and the clouds in England and I always wanted to read alone in the park ! And the vehicle note was hilarious and sadly true
I am glad you’re enjoying Kuwait it warms my heart to hear it from a foreigner. I feel like i want to show you more about kuwait. You didnt talk about the cheap prices of food , and also a cheap living i think its a huge difference from England. Btw about hanging out and picnicking this is why we enjoy and LOVE the hydepark in london like evey Kuwaiti loves london in general.
Arabic Mike thanks man I really appreciate your life and your enthusiasm and giving a respectful view of Kuwait ofcourse I don’t need to tell you what I like about England because what’s not to like about it except the cold weather aside from that everything is perfect
It is Nice that you're aware of all the small details that made you love Kuwait I would agree with everything except the heat it's unbearable and those sandwiches are Delicious
Something cool in Kuwait is that there are rarely any bullies everyone loves each other where like a big family Kuwait is a country that nobody knows anything about it but if you want a big family friends and a good life you should give Kuwait a visit and if you don’t like it ok there’s always another place that you will like
I’m Libyan but I can definitely relate to the things you’ve mentioned. That’s something to appreciate in Arab countries they maintain family values, morals and security.
I really appreciate that you mention these things about my country 💗 and you seeing it. I can’t stop smiling 💗
Thank you for being so nice by didn’t mention anything bad and I’m really sorry if you experienced bad things but you didn’t talk about it💗

thanks man - welcome to the channel and good luck with your move
If you married everything gonna be easy to you both ( work - social life - renting - hangout)
Loved watching this! It’s true, Middle Eastern culture is much more family oriented and “close”. Family really are your FRIENDS!

الكويت تحبك ✌🏻
Born and lived in Kuwait will always consider it my home
I thank you for this video! Its so weird how I never appreciate Kuwait that much! I mean the sunset and family time! I always loved the rain and the clouds in England and I always wanted to read alone in the park ! And the vehicle note was hilarious and sadly true
I love the way you talk and explain things... You have got a new subscriber from Kuwait.. Loving your vlogs 😊
Your words are so deep, thank u for this video about my country you’re very nice and open minded 💕
To be honest as a Kuwaiti, i can relate that some of these things are also my favorite about living in Kuwait 🇰🇼 ... love your unique channel mike 👍🏼
Thanks Hamad

You mentioned thingsI toke it for granted and made me realize the good for living in Kuwait
Thanks
you're welcome and i'm happy about that thanks for your comment
Same here .. I really do take a lot for granted living in the gulf
You did a great job learning arabic I am amazed by your pronouncation of letters
I like the way you have a very positive view of our country and I really appreciate and respect that thank you bro
Wow you made me be thankful for things I neglected. Great to hear you love Kuwait ❤️
