My Hardest PSN Platinum Trophy Yet? Cuphead PS4 Trophy Challenge

- You can imagine my excitement when one of my favorite games of this generation randomly dropped on PS4 without much notice. And while I had a great time with Cuphead and Mugman on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, I instantly jumped at the chance of earning a Platinum trophy for this game. And well, I decided to catalogue the entire journey. In hindsight it maybe wasn't the best idea if only because filming/editing all this footage and making it digestible by TH-cam's standard was a nightmare. But I've had a lot of requests to do another trophy video so consider this one your stop-gap before my next challenge. Which may very well be waiting for me on PlayStation 5... (cliffhanger, woah).

What up everybody. Hope you enjoy this one, been awhile since we did a trophy video. This one was an absolute nightmare to film and edit (over 430 GB's of footage) so I'd appreciate the likes on this just so it doesn't get buried right away by TH-cam's algorithm. Also there's an extended cut (about two hours long) up now for Patreon supporters! It's more of a rough cut, but has a lot more raging which didn't make it here. Thanks again everyone! Me and my 9yr old son played this on my PS4 pro lastnight and I explained to him that this game is dope but it's that unforgiving 90's style dope meaning trial and error he being a kid that thinks he knows everything was like yeah dad I know all about Cuphead I seen it on TH-cam and I know it's hard I'm like ok well let's atleast run through the tutorial once again he's like nah I got this I'm like aight son I warned u🤦🏾♂️we died atleast 25 times on the 1st level and he lost his shit😆 we laughed about it later on but he wasn't laughing lastnight 😂🤷🏾♂️

Y'know, I didn't think the platinum was that difficult for this game. It was demanding for sure, but it was also pretty forgiving. I mean, could you imagine if the requirement was to get all S ranks? No thank you.

Xbox achievements are so much better, Many if the achievements such as Pacifist and the one where you have to beat a boss as a little baby plane aren’t needed for 100% the only ones required are the A ranks all coins all item shop items, beating the game, and beating the game on expert. I have 100% and haven’t done Pacifist.

I can’t believe anyone thought Cuphead was an easy game to beat. I am still stuck on Treetop Trouble. If I had purchased a physical copy of this game I would have returned it months ago. Unfortunately, It is digital

I got 4 wins in a row the other night and had server issues on my 5th game. I uninstalled the game for a day and now I'm just like eh fuck it I'll exploit it. I know I'm good and probably lucky enough for the full 5 but it's not worth the time grinding legitimately

I LOVE the theme of this game, it just looks like a really classic old gem
I went through this game with my brother and was just happy to beat the devil but seeing this play through has inspired me to go for the platinum, I'm currently one trophy away and am on Isle III expert.

I was so happy to see this amazing game released for PS4.Cuphead is hands down one of the most truly unique, creative and artistically stunning platformers ever made. It's so good, and so damn challenging!

I platinumed this a few weeks ago, actually found it really fun except for Hilda Berg and Wally Warbles on expert mode... those fights made me worried for my heart.

This and Friday the 13th (a game I got at launch) are the two games i refuse to try to 100% complete with achievements/trophies. Cuphead I beat every boss on the first island with an A grade, but the rest I gave up on
Man I am just having issues beating all the levels, much less getting an A rank on all, 84% complete and I have been playing it off and on for a year.

I got my platinum for this game 3 days ago. It's tough and so much fun, however it's nowhere near as brutal as getting platinum for Hollow Knight. That game had me on the verge of breaking my controller too many times 😅
I knew I wasn't alone about Hollow Knight's Platinum Trophy having a difficulty far worse then Cuphead.
People overrating cuphead’s plat. I plated both cuphead and hollow knight and the former is nothing compared to the latter.
The first time i took a look at cuphead plat i was only looking at S rank expert. It would have been tough if that was required. Since there is none, I expected to plat it within 2 days. I managed to do it within 3 and thought i was wasting time.
@@badmaaash Exactly. Getting platinum in Cuphead took me about 3 days. Hollow Knight on the other hand, took me literal weeks to do. The boss mechanics in Cuphead is a joke compared to what Hollow Knight has going on.
Anyone who tries to claim otherwise has never fought against Nightmare Grimm, or the motherfucker that drove me up the wall, Pure Vessel.
