    Loose some air half of the tire it's easy to put the plug it will work it will patch then put proper air no leak I always do that. I did the experiment. 👍🙂

    I really prefer the kit that comes with the rubber cement, I feel like it seals a LOT better.

    I hate my Slime tire patch tools. That SCREW RASP SUCKS - not sharp at all for make the whole clean or bigger for the large patch. HYPERTOUGH PATCH TOOL LOOKS BETTER. The Rasp cleaner is weak. not sharp. Pushing in with that handle is too hard if you can't make the hole larger. The whole tire patch kit stuff is cumbersome. Has to be a better way. By the way he didn't include the cement.

      We did a quick online search for HYPERTOUGH PATCH TIRE REPAIR TOOL and doesn't seem to be as readily available in local auto parts stores. We did see it on Amazon.
