"You have alienated everyone in your life except for Chris and Elise, and I have a feeling at least one of them is gettable." i like how that subtly implies Chris x Dan is a thing
In most episodes, the "couple with homo tendencies" trope is used a lot. And, somehow, Dan does feel something for Chris but if those feelings are romantic or not are part of the joke.
thinking about it... Having someone try to be your imposter, and if they know you well enough that they know you can fight, it sounds exciting. I'd wanna fight myself!!
Most cartoons that do this trope have the imposter character and the real one look exactly the same but with a different voice. I wouldn’t be surprised if this dude is Dan’s brother, the real question is how did he know so much about Dan from the beginning and why do they look so alike naturally.
Judging by the facial differences, I'd say his similarity in appearance to Dan is coincidental. People even from far away countries can have basic facial similarities to one another with some differences. I live in South Asia and let me tell you, me and my family compare our appearances to Middle Easterners(Turkish people mostly) and sometimes Europeans a lot.
Identity Theft, anyone who steals a person's identity can lead up to serve 7 months in prison, 2 years if there's any crimes that the defendant has made in the past, in certain court cases they will need evidence that you're the actual person by having blood DNA matching yours and fingerprints, in most court cases the victim can bring witnesses who's who and about them if you know them real personally, sorry I just had to address how this Episode can end with a win for the real Dan and a major lose to Fake Dan
Liquid Dan (Fake Dan) is much more likable. Who says his friends would want to keep helping Solid Dan (Real Dan)? In fact, they might make them realise how toxic Solid Dan actually is, and claim Liquid Dan as the real Dan, with real Dan going to prison - and if crimes increase your sentence he's going away for a long time.

@DTG 3D It was so bad that RWS tells you on the product page not to buy it, and created Paradise Lost as a Postal 2 DLC to retcon Postal 3 as a bad dream that the dude had during a coma (the Postal 3 dude also appears as an antagonist in the DLC)
@DTG 3D A total classic, go ahead!
Im so glad I kept scrolling before clicking off this video
Anything related to Postal (except the 3rd game) makes meh happeh!
"...and Dan, we're on parole" BRO 😭😂😭
"It's strawberry rhubarb, Dan... I'm not made of stone."
he speaks for all of us
**literally gaslights him into thinking he's not the real Dan**
The fact that this clip ended without any retribution for Dan has to be one of the most unsatisfying things ever!
what happens?
@@gin9561 Dan goes to jail for 3 weeks (or months I forgot which one) and uses his one phone call to tell the imposter that he won't be bothered by his telemarketing and how he wins in the end, and Imposter Dan laughs it off acknowledging his "defeat" by Dan and the episode ends with the imposter Dan saying, "that guy really needs to let things go" while relaxing and fishing (in a sense of irony as he kept calling Dan to annoy him as his "revenge")
Someone said in the comments that there was supposed to be a 3rd episode involving imposter Dan before the show was cancelled (take that with a grain of salt and research on it if it's true)
and it could only be assumed that it was imposter Dan being defeated for good and his last appearance.
Sorry, my ass is too lazy to keep it up in the pandemic. I believe i gotta finished my college task after making this video.
@@sinnamonski685you are very correct!
I just realized when the impostor says “have u been working out?” Makes sense because just 5 EPISODES PRIOR the episode was about the gym.
I love how Dan only needs to be told that someone is "gettable" before going into a mad rage
I love this guy! I have a bit of a soft spot for cartoon characters who are somewhat of a bastard, they know it and they enjoy it and he is one of those. Other characters that are like that are Bart Simpson, Louie Duck from Ducktales 2017 and Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel and Blitzo from Helluva Boss.
Relatable !
Ok but the imposter has literally threatened to shoot Dan and done multiple illegal things just to kick someone who’s already on the ground
Dan's reaction to being called off-putting and angry kills me everytime.
I'm so glad Dan got revenge on this guy
and then woop
season 3 comes around and drops the best episode in the series with the impostor coming back
isn't the telemarketer a season 2 episode💀
@@yodelingcomputers I binged it all, so I thought it was season 3, but you're right, it's season 2
@@JackieJKENVtuber oh lol
Why does Dan remind me of a "slightly more reasonable" Trevor
That's him exactly.
Dan is child-friendly Trevor
Well he’s not a murderer or cannibal.
He's a less intelligent Rick Sanchez too.
@@nomistarfall560 Dan would be afraid of Trevor
This show is one of the few “Adult cartoons” that don’t heavily rely on 14 year old dirty humour 💀
u know it's tv pg, right?
Worst part is the dude is smart enough to do whatever he wants and have some level of success, he just decided to steal identities for no reason.
Imp. Dan: "So... I should just let it go, then?"
Dan: "I WOULD."
No the hell you wouldn't, Dan! 😂
Man, I'm surprised not more people are mentioning this golden line. 🤣
love the little detail of the imposter having five fingers, vs the real Dan's standard cartoony four-fingered hand. makes him his own kind of surreal. hyper-real
Sorry but I counted and all of them have 5.
3:42 lol
Both of them have 5 fingers.
100+ people who Iiked your comment as well delusional as you lol
honestly, with Dan's misdeamenor record, i'd rather i choose a different identity. Dan had a chance for a new fresh start with someone stealing his identiy
Imposter Dan is the definition of a "Anti-Villain"
"You have alienated everyone in your life except for Chris and Elise, and I have a feeling at least one of them is gettable."
i like how that subtly implies Chris x Dan is a thing
i feel like if the cartoon returned they would very much address this lmao
@@mrdoggo3569 nah
In most episodes, the "couple with homo tendencies" trope is used a lot. And, somehow, Dan does feel something for Chris but if those feelings are romantic or not are part of the joke.
I love that Dan's journal has "trespassers will be shot" written on it
Considering that’s a nice apartment with a cat, who wouldn’t want to impersonate Dan!
Thing is, with Dan there, it was a wasteland.
Let him, he's gotta pay Dan's taxes now
His friends should learn the value of LOYALTY
Elise isn't his friend, she puts up with him because of Chris. Chris is a follower, so easily manipulated that mostly anyone can win him over.
"You have loyalty issues, -Tenno- Chris. My Zanuka project will fix that for you."
Why would any one want to be loyal to some one like him?
Ah, so this is how the IRS punishes people now.
Honestly if I came home and someone who looked almost identical to me was wearing my clothes and using my name I would be freaking out too lmao
The thing is that the imposter is responsible for his own demise since he’s the one who stole his identity
I can't blame Chris.
i'd betray my best friend for a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie too
If he was Dan of course
"I learned all about subhuman on cell block 2"
something tells me he's talking about a different type of sub-human. Perhaps the type that drops soap?
I always found it funny that Liquid Dan and the real Dan are the same person, one is more mild mannered.
Similar derangements but different presentations
Separate siblings?
Imagine having a doppelganger and he sounds like Dr Cox from Scrubs
thinking about it... Having someone try to be your imposter, and if they know you well enough that they know you can fight, it sounds exciting. I'd wanna fight myself!!
Most cartoons that do this trope have the imposter character and the real one look exactly the same but with a different voice. Here, Fake Dans taller, has different eyes, nose, skin is slightly lighter etc. It’s more believable that’s he’s a weirdo that’s decided to take over Dans life instead of him looking like a clone or something
And it's amazing because you can actually see something like this happen almost exactly like this in real life.
You know. For the telemarketer thing, Dan could've just used the no call list and one quick lawsuit is all it takes for it to be resolved.
What makes you think Dan has the money to sue someone?
Dr. Cox has a great voice for animation.
I need to watch more of this show, seems like a fun watch
It definitely is.
>Casually threatens to shoot them in self defense
lol
imposter like from the hit game among us 😳⛔
Chris Chan and Liquid Chris the animated series.
BRAIN ROT?!??!?!?!!! 0:14
Well, Dan is in Dan's workplace, he could act insufferable to his boss to annoy him)
They NEED to bring this show back!
one of the most infuriating antagonists in television.
2:43 "Sooo if you don't leave IMMEDIATELY I'll be forced to SHOOT YOU in self defense."
WOW. This is one of those clips you show friends to get them to believe you when you say "No this isn't like, a kids show. You know?"
What makes it more satisfying is that even if they realize he’s not the real Dan, they can still arrest him for identity theft using a blood test.
2:43 Friendly reminder that this aired on the Hub Network alongside My Little Pony.
This is just the liquid chrischan saga
I think my favorite part about the dan imposter is that he did win in a way in his last appearance
They need to go back to the show and make more episodes this was a good show
Only just clicked for me this is John C. McGinley. Wonderful!
2:58 voice made me flashback to Fern in Adventure Time. You know that voice? It just kinda, sounds kinda more soft and up? Positive?
But poor grass boy doesnt get any meatloaf even
This show is very underrated !!
I love this show and miss it so much and want to see it back on TV releasing new episodes in a new season. This must come backk!
I love that imposter Dan is slightly taller and has a better hairline. Great attention to detail lol
I just realized...THAT'S JOHN C. MCGINLEY! It's hard to hear it because he's acting so painfully nice on purpose that you can't hear it until he yells!!!
Dan was the imposter before it was sus
What the hell that "I'll be forced to shoot you in self-defence" comes out of left-field *this aired on a kids network*
I mean, in my opinion, this show may have been rated PG like for those aged 10 and above.
"I just thought you should know that I've struck up an online... "friendship" with a gay German fella who's into cannibalism. He's expecting me to... "play hard to get", and he'll be at my apartment sometime between seven P.M. tonight and... well, whenever. Enjoy... _my_ evening."
"Uh... okay, y'know what? I'm leaving. Your key will be where you left it, and I apologize. Well played."
Friendly reminder: This show is on Tubi
I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE📮📮📮📮⛔️⛔️⛔️⛔️🆘🆘🆘🆘📛📛📛📛

😳s-sus?
I love their voice actors
To be honest the consept of him is really good. If this show wasnt cancelled he would be a really good villian
Going after an antisocial loner probably isn’t the safest move.
Jokes on him Dan is already insane
Who else got this video recommended to them after watching, "THIS WAS MY MOST EMBARRASSING FAILURE IN AMONG US WITH MY FRIENDS..." by Terroriser or vice versa? I swear TH-cam knows that the quite specific phrase "strawberry-rhubarb pie" was said within both of them.
This was my first introduction to identify theft, this show taught me many things.
Great actors in this show i wish i would have heard of it sooner.
holy shit that's dr. cox!
Just like how piccolo and Kami we're split apart
I could handle everything except my cat warming up the fake me. Take the house, take the identity, but the cat stays with me
