Lol I was taken to NYC on an early summer night cruising through admiring the city lights and the busy atmosphere from the safe and tranquil passenger seat... Miles Davis sought to elicit collective improvisation in all his bands. As his thinking evolved, he promoted more rhythmic interaction by reducing the harmonic progressions to what ultimately elicited the highest order of rhythmic agreement. That has always been the joy in jazz for me.

Live however his covers are astounding and shows how live Jazz arrangements with different or newer band members made Miles 80s shut that more interesting. He hit on another innovative way to make music! These developments were astounding!!!!!
@@FCntertainr True and each concert he did was different like arrangements and way of playing a song..
@@Clank9996 I learned Human Nature on soprano sax off Miles Your Under Arrest album. Time after Time generated a ton if interested but he just gave a nice reading. Live however he expanded these great Pop tunes especially Human Nature written by the Porcaro brother of the pop group Toto. Miles made it his new theme song! He roared in the 80s with song forms, booty shaking funk with the greatest young bloods. His time on Earth was from the mid 40s till maybe a lull in the mid to late 70s to his death was just a learning innovative, astounding, amazingly awesome Instrument only the creator could have played! This from an early 70s Funk purveyor who gravitated to fusion jazz Blues a discliple if Nathan Davis, Eddie Jefferson, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, children Chick Corea, Tony William, Jack Dejohnnette, and their mentors before them.
When I hear Miles is like the sun is shining.
I agree...His music makes me feel good.

À L 'OPPOSÉ DE CHARLIE PARKER, MILES A TOUJOURS JOUÉ D'UNE MANIÈRE SUBTILE... TOUCHANT PRESQUE LES NOTES. IL VOLAIT COMME UN OISEAU, QUE CHERCHE SON DESTIN! Ok, we all know Garrett is just sick, but so is that drummer. I don't know that I've ever seen a finer piece of drumming.
