    I like your style. Gotta go put my pads on my 2003 E320. I did get a malfunction warning for brake pad wear. Front looks OK to me, so I'm gonna check the rear.

    Please give torque specs and if possible get a camera person so we can see the whole process on some of these videos and I will definitely like and subscribe to all your stuff especially the ones about this car.

      I do not include torque specs as I think it is important not to guide someone step by step on how to do something. Also I learned in the Air Force many years ago not to memorize torque Etc. those things can change with service updates. As for a camera person, this is a learning curve and I do believe my videos are getting betters. I have definitely invested in my gear. Do you have a Mercedes diesel? They are good cars.

    Hi. You pump the brakes with the keys on . Or without the keys on.?

    • @KevinKalden
      @KevinKalden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does not matters so much because the brakes are a closed system.

    This guy is not doing this correctly. He should have used a scantool to disable the breaking system. He will get all kinds of errors when he tries to drive this car.

    • @KevinKalden

      I have been driving this car for years since this brake job without a problem.

      @@KevinKalden By any chance did you disconnect the batteries when doing this? I've read to avoid the issues of brake errors or messages, it's best to do it while the battery is disconnected or the scan tool.

      @@palmviewlobos15 oh I probably did not. I do have a diagnostic tool but doubt I would have used it. Those cars are funny that way though. That being said I am old school. My check engine light for my 2003 Jetta turned on in 2003 and it is still on. 250,000 miles laters and I get great satisfaction thinking all of times I did not spend money on it.
