I know this feelin all to well lol it took me almost 3 hrs to get out a piece of the little black bristles on the airbrush cleaning pipe cleaner. Such a huge headache, so. It wasn’t actually paint this time but it still was a pain lol and have had paint stop up as well
Don't know if this is a tip,but I cut out the mesh lay it over my bottle top and screw Paint top back on !!!!👍🏻👍🏻
Yup, the old and tried pantyhose trick, no reason to spend money on "specialised" paint strainers! 🎨

I have an airbrush siphon and I find it difficult to operate because the paint does not pass from the bottle to the airbrush

Love these tips... I like to use a nylon over a funnel to strain my paint. And like you I don't do it all the time but certainly on those OLD bottles of paint.

When I use the same colour I’ll strain about twice , you could probably get a few more times out of it but I find that I won’t need to do it more than that as I rarely need to re-fill my colour cup more than that 👍🏻
What type of art paint thinner what I need for spray paint do use in an airbrush I would like to know before I even go and buy the stuff and it doesn’t work that way I’m supposed to have it to work

A piece of net curtain between the bottle and lid does the job nicely without the hassle of a separate strainer.
great tip...thank you....but not to be one of those people....but it seems that a better solution would be to wipe the bottle clean after pouring the paint and not let the bottle get to that point....at least that is what I do.....not trying to sound arrogant so please don't take it that way as I learn a lot from your videos....thank you
Thanks for your comment and yes , prevention is definitely better than the cure …if you keep your bottle clean in the first place then that will definitely help to minimize issues…thanks for raising that point and glad you enjoy the vids and find them helpful 👍🏻🙏🏻
I understand completely what you are saying. I've said for years that I need to get some strainers. I do my best to keep my bottles clean, but then I'll get in a hurry once or twice, then 3 or 4 times. The next thing I know, I'm frustrated and taking my airbrush all apart again. lol
AA knows all the tricks! I do not airbrush paint, but enjoy watching his channel. He makes me want to start a new hobby!

I use small stainless baking strainer by means of using semi-heavy body acrylics where every acrylics I bought, I pre-mixed the colors then store them with urine test bottles. I use medium-size brush then dip into my pre-mixed acrylics then I USE SMALL STAINLESS BAKING STRAINER, brushing it to strainer to separate the chunks paint or some of them might dillutes to liquid with small water. Brush absorb the strained acrylics then thats the time where now I put on my airbrush. This is less hassle, bro you could try my technique as well.
You will also noticed that as you brush the acrylic into strainer, try to flip the strainer so will get the strained acrylics with your brush then put it into your airbrush. I hope my explaination is not hard to understand. Thanks you. BTW, my aibrush is ready with acrylic thinner medium on its cup to mix with my strained acrylics.

Would like to see a video on a recommended beginners kit for airbrushing or even sampling some of the cheaper say $30 airbrushes if they are suitable for someone beginning from scratch

If only we could get strainers that were not designed for filling a spray gun, they do last a few uses admittedly but a bit smaller would be great…..
