fun fact: the reason she's so OP is because this agent 3 is actually the memory agent 8 has of facing her back in splatoon 1. This is not how strong she actually was, but how strong she seemed like to her enemies.

I'm mad, sad, and glad that he beat Agent 3 so quickly. I spent a full night and almost broke my Pro Controller (the back right bumper gets stuck every so often still) just to beat her. Literal hours of non-stop attempts. I'm glad he won so quickly but I am SALTY

I watched the livestream. It took like 3 hours to un-salt my soul. His strategy wasn't even that good (that's a fact, it's not just me being salty). As you can see, he only beat it once.

Ok everyone was talking about how easy Fail found the Agent 3 fight, but I can't get over how he was calmly inking the whole of Tentakeel Outpost while giving a speech about motivating your artistic side because that's a power move right there

Wait so... you're saying that Inner Agent 3 was easy for you because you were bad at Splatoon 1? That means i was good at Splatoon 1 but i got worse in Splatoon 2... that is strangely accurate because i was expecting many new players when i first got Splatoon 2 and i was a little overconfident about being a verteran. It took me 3 days to beat that and 10 minutes for you (insert thonk here).
No, its just that agent 8 has PTSD from the agent 3 fight, so in her mind she was invinsible, and since the fight takes place in agent 8's memory its not the actual skill agent 3 had, its like a placebo effect but with how powerful agent 3 was.

I think i can speak on behalf of all of us, thank YOU Dan for entertaining us through some tough times, you have no idea how much you've helped me, and other people in the community with your content.
This final fight is seriously one of the best things I've ever seen. Gameplay wise, challenges the player with absolutely everything it can throw at them. In terms of theming, having the fight use the original two colors along with the inkantation was an absolute sight. Finally, the in universe reason for this fight along with the fight you have with sanitized 3 just makes you feel so much with all the progress you've made

You gotta remember that many splatoon youtubers, like failboat, are rank x. Failboat has said he has 600+ hours in Splatoon 2. The boss isn't easy, they are just really good.

I spent like three hours on this. And I was still incredibly lucky. You’ve got skills, man.
Towards the when you were talking about Splatoon or Splatoon 2 being a person’s first game it really resonated with me.
Technically Splatoon wasn’t my first, that spot belong to Animal Crossing: New Leaf. But it was my first home console game and really the game that expanded my view on what a video game could be. Without Splatoon, I wouldn’t be the person I am now and for that the game series will always have a special place in my heart.

This boss fight was incredibly hard for me to beat. It took me a few days to beat it and man was it stressfulI! I’m glad that Failboat managed to beat it in only a few minutes. That just shows how good he is!
Taking the right aproach on this fight actually makes this fight really fun to play and improved my online skills by alot, going from 1st place with the most ground inked with a measly 7 kills per game, now gets me 1st place with an average of 15 kills per game with Splattershots, it also means at this point trying to dualie dodge roll me almost impossible I can generally predict it by this point. This fight is a great way to improve in multiplayer and its pretty fun

You talked test failed
you just know how to cheap against specials... agent 3 punishes you for playing correctly, aka playing your range. Your armor breaks and the auto bombs are death waiting to happen, with "bugged" hitboxes (they are larger than youd think)... im more surprised you got away with waiting in between your attacks as much as you did, as for me, agent 3 did regen health...
Then again, after the first uphill battle, i have a much easier time winning when i go back for a rematch (about 5 deaths per win, vs the 100+ of the first time...)
The way you beat it so quickly is incredibly impressive, it took me about 2ish hours of straight playing to finally beat em
