Thanks Darrin!! Having a blast cuttung these big old rocks ive had lying around
Fabulous!
Cherry flame was amazing the best and the tree rock was really cool as well my favorite two
That cherry is AMAZING
It's so awesome that you got a saw to use and cut some of the bigger things you find! That cherry seam agate looks like a glacier that is surrounded by a lava flow! Excellent stuff! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Brian!
So cool!!!!!!!!!
Love the first slabs !
Terry's Cherry was Luvvly Jubby 🍒
You have created an amazing platform to display our Province's sheer beauty! Your videos are fantastic ❤. Can't wait for the next one.
Thank you so much!
Love your channel. I would love to have some of the agates you find.
The right tool for the right job. Beautiful cuts. 😷⚒
Thanks 👍
Wow you deserve that saw! All I can do is say thanks again for teaching us SO much.
Holy cow that stromo.
PS totally love keeping the limestone context of that reddish limb
Thanks again!
Oh man that Cherry flame agate greatness! 🔥 Those ghostly plumes are sick! I really really love the stromatolite too. I have some just like it but on a way smaller scale lol. Great stuff! Cant wait to see more. Congrats on the new saw and everything else amazing that you're doing. Loving it! Cheers🙌
Thanks Marlaina! The location where tha5 stromatolite comes from has examples the size of cars!! They are incredible!
@@RockhoundingLife I've seen...it's fascinating! And the oldest living organism on Earth! Way cool.
Who else sees the cattle head at 13:43? It jumped out instantly for me. Maybe I was thinking about steak 😂
I look forward to your videos, they feed my inner rockhound. Im off to the north shore today, who knows what I’ll find along the shore! Usually find a few crappy shell fossils and not much else of any value. Lot of sandstone there. Cheers from Truro!
Some fossils up that way. Happy hunting!
Hello from Cape Breton! I love your videos!
Thank you!!
Beautiful slabs! Looks like the saw works perfectly ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
I just subscribed to your channel, your video was very impressive, very nice looking pieces, I am looking forward to seeing the next video 🎉!!!
Thamk you very much!! And welcome to our channel!!!
Spectacular slabs from what seems to be a high quality saw. I didn't know that you had such big pieces to cut. The fun is just beginning!
(I notice that you've been calling the tree pieces conifers rather than cycads. Did you discover something new about them?)
I believe there is a mix of species there from that period (early Jurassic), but it is difficult to tell since they are limb casts and the wood grain is completely gone.
Those Treerock and Cherry slabs are too beautiful to cab. Should just polish them as display pieces.
You are probably right.
Wow super nice! Is the Highland park the way to go or do you have other preferences as well in the slab saws?
I am extremely happy with the 24" so far. It is a quality machine. Definitely a great choice if you are looking to graduate to the next level o equipment in lapidary.
@@RockhoundingLife yes that’s my plan , have a 1acre lot up fir sale I don’t need and will get a better set up when I do … I’m in Kentucky agate country. Fortunately I’m close! Found a great agate yesterday I put it in a short today from yesterday s hunt
W hat will the cherry slabs be used for thick cut.. I love the cherry
Not sure yet. They are beautiful the way they are. Great display pieces!
@@RockhoundingLife I agree 100% thanks I have shorts channel I just started five weeks ago .., going back to the creek in a few minutes our water level is low so I can get to places I’ve never been able too found several agates yesterday Kentucky here!
all i can say is wow.
what is a conifir?
It's a type of tree from the Jurassic period.
for example pine tree, juniper... redwoods.. are conifer, many evergreen trees are.
