You guys are fantastic! I have had my saw for 3 months now. Not only have i cut a drum of rock but fellow disabled veterans have cut car loads on it. I would trade my 1936 jaguars for another saw, it is that good.

I really like this model - especially the Everclean feature - but I'm curious as to why you don't put windows in the hoods - I noticed the laboratory line of saws has them, and I've seen comparable models from other brands include them - so are they just an expensive feature to add, or do you find that the oil splash impedes visibility to the extent that they aren't worth it? I like the idea of being able to see what's going on while the blade is running.

The windows lose their purpose because it gets splashed by mud (oil and dust), so seeing clearly right through it is impossible. We want to provide a fully functional machine that is cost-effective. This is an old marketing gimmick that we don't support, as it's more expensive to create, and also not worth it. If you like to have that window on your hood, we suggest that you saw a hole in your hood and put the window yourself. But that's the reason why we don't do windows on our hood.

Ordered one over two months ago but still no word on ETA or if it has even been built yet. Disappointed with communication and keeping me waiting so long.

Worst thing is made in China and not in the USA like it was originally. I like products made here in America.
