Thank you for the setup/preliminary checkout video. Always nice if you can get it close to where it is supposed to be, the post repair dial in (in theory) goes much more quickly and accurately. Indeed, I always like to take a "baseline" look at bias and DC offset etc. and dial things in as close to spec as possible. Of course, that's if the ability to perform such adjustments isn't hindered by a malfunctioning component/s initially. As well, if the above are "outside their norms", the result is often "kicking in and dropping out" of the protect relay (if one is present).So, that situation needs to be resolved anyway before moving forward. But yes, some pre dialing in of such adjustments typically makes touching things up in the end quicker.

They are very nice receivers, the best era as far as solid-state consumer audio is concerned. They were built well and made to be serviced.
