I was watching a Joe rogan where he talks about the terms and conditions of the tiktok & it was just insane. From ip address to location to device type this apps takes all the private data of users. I don't know about reels but it is a issue. We need more policies regarding internet.

It's the parents fault as well they're too busy that they cant even play with their own child and then they give him/her a mobile phone and don't care about whatever they see....they should not give mobile to their childs for all day..even i got my mobile when i completed my 12th first,i was very jealous of my friends whom had phones but now I'm proud of my parents and their decision....

To be honest, I feel that the addiction to such platforms can be attributed more than 70% to the users. It's not only Tiktok, but also Instagram and even YT shorts. Users must pull themselves out of such addictions. Yes, some regulatory action needs to be taken to control such platforms, but entire blame shouldn't be on them. If a person is addicted to alcohol and smoking, it's more than 50% the false of the person, because alcohol and ciggarates are regulated. We must apply the same strategy with such addictive platforms.

But I feel Insta reel/Twitter trends is no different, it has contents to manipulate users, (I have never used any other Indian apps that are mentioned in Video but on searching it seems they are no different) How these other apps are working for Indian youth? Haven't they caused the same issues of attention span and sexual contents? The problem is much bigger.. and this video seems to be just tip of iceberg (ironic I say).
Just a reminder that TikTok is merely a platform. The videos are made by people around us. They're the ones who spoil the platform and they'd do the same be it TikTok or any other platform. So never say "TikTok is cringe" it's the humans who create those videos.
Having said that, of course TikTok would try to spread content that gets more reactions. If people are the ones creating, liking and sharing such they should be equally blamed if not more.
