The Bifrost was also stated to be able to destroy a planet in Thor 1 so it makes scene that it could break the shield. If you want to argue the shield is stronger then that Thor could have used Stormbreaker to break it. Stormbreaker can hurt Thanos who is is at least Star level in durability. Stormbreaker is also made of Uru which is what Thanos' sword was made of and that could cut caps shield. Therefore Stormbreaker can easily cut the Wakanda shield as well. Not to mention the shield could be easily bypassed by an outrider anyway so, unless your trying to say Thor is weaker then Outriders, I don't know what your trying to prove.

Second the film did not show where thor entered from and it is very much possible that he entered through the opened area because it was not a small door or anything it literally opened a whole section of the shield. And they gathered up in their iconic circle and the camera was circling around them as they were gearing up and as they took off into battle Bruce Banner/The Hulk was looking back and as he said "I'm always angry" one of those alien ships came towards him and he smoothly turned into Hulk and punched the alien ship back before it could get too close. The shield was open on purpose by the wakandans in this scene. The shield doesn’t go under water so that way the water looks natural and allows for fresh flow in and out so Namor got in easy that way.

Yes he can penetrate through wakanda's shield and many other things except he can only do it with stormbreaker.
