- Hello everyone!! I am back with another video. I had a lot of fun creating this one for you guys. I hope you enjoy it, tell me what you think! What other movies are there that we may have not seen, comment below :)

I want to thank all of you so much for watching my videos. We are almost at 100k views! You may have noticed that at around minute 1:30 the video cuts. The movie mentioned there was meant to be Shelter. The company who made the movie flagged my video for copyright and I had to remove that portion of the video. I hope everyone is having a safe and blessed day today!
Shelter was a good movie. Too bad the makers didn't want you to promote it.
My favourite is Free Fall ,Germany 2013. So awesome
Shelter is so underrated. It's one of the best out there. There are at least another movie named Shelter. Remember to pick the one with Trevor Wright and Brad Rowe in it. Didn't get much exposure because it's an Independent film with no big name stars but I fell in love with it. The soundtrack is wonderful.
Now, you can watch shelter here by you tube. The movie is amazing and lovingly with a lot 💕.And it's one of the few gay movies with a happy ending. I like it because I am so unhappy in love with my best boyfriend ... And I hope that I can tell him one day that I love him.
Shelter is one of the absolute best. Great acting. Amazing love story with a gay family ending. I loved it and its one of my all time favorites.
God's Own Country is another great one.

Prayers for Bobby is the movie that made my mom finally accept who I was. She didn't understand the struggle I was having with it and then, realizing her own religious biases, she just simply accepted it. I can't describe how that felt but it was wonderful.

Free Fall (Freier Fall) - amazing German movie about two men who meet during training at police academy.
Gods own country.
Oldie but a goodie - My beautiful laundrette.
Out of the Dark is a very good movie. I am not Jewish or Palestinian, but it really demonstrates being gay in a divided area of the world.

Maurice 1987 is a must watch movie
Since 1996 I've been collecting gay themed DVDs and now have over 800 titles (all of which I have watched). Films (you may not be aware of) worth mentioning are : For a Lost Soldier (Danish w/subtitles), The Sum of Us (Australian w/Russell Crowe) and Latter Days. These are only 3 from my Top 10 list of the many movies I've enjoyed over the years. After seeing these films you will realize that the time you spent looking for them was well worth it. ENJOY!

For a Lost Soldier is Dutch, not Danish. Excellent choice though. Have you seen Summerstorm (Sommersturm in German)?

If you like 'Boys', you may also know another dutch gay movie called 'Alle tijd' (Alle Zeit der Welt in german). It comes in dutch with english sub, but I don't know, If you can get it out of europe. Just try, it is worth. They have such good characters, not just the gay couple is soo adorable, all of them are very heartwarming.One of my all time favorites.

The Trip was a huge surprise. I loved the dialogue and the music.

Shelter is without a doubt the best love story I have ever seen. Have watched it several times and it just gets better.
Shelter is so great! I have also seen it multiple times and I just love it.
My first gay film, while I was still in the closest, late 90s, Get Real. Love that movie. I feel like I’ve seen Shelter, but my memory is fuzzy. Just like My Best Friend. I know I started it. I know I’ve seen the middle. I just don’t remember the end.
Get Real is an excellent movie, and too much overlooked.
I have seen 3 of them. Mysterious Skin, Beautiful Thing, My Best Friend. Mysterious Skin is so dark and stunning. Now I wanna see Prayers For Bobby.

Just watched Call Me By Your Name. Really great movie. My favorite, brings me to tears every time, The Laramie Project.

Search for Interview with THE vampire. Film Adaption of a book by Anne Rice with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise from 1994. Very famous. Not really a gay movie, but gay friendly. Recommended 😊

Another good movie if you can find it is "Torch Song Trilogy." Starring Harvey Fierstein, Matthew Broderick, Brian Kerwin and Anne Bancroft. Was adapted from the Broadway play by the same title written by Harvey Fierstein. It is worth tracking down. Comedy, drama and a happy ending.

Awesome picks, Mysterious film is a must watch, like all greg araki movies he's a gay filmmaker who always talks about weird things in his movies but it's fun and entertaining, mysterious skin is hard to watch but the performances are awesome.

I really liked it too. But I still not like and can understanding why they changed the ending from the book. All of you should read the book. It's the best. And then binge Love, Victor. It's more Becky Albertally, because of that I liked it a bit more then Love, Simon. Can't wait for Season 2.

My favourite gay movie is called alex strange love
that was litteraly shittiest one.. everybody says that
Mi Mejor Amigo - I watched it and really not sure it can be called an LGBT film. The main character has sex with a girl who he later on ignores but then the only homocentric activity in the rest of the movie is that main character feeling strange in the shower and being very affectionate with his male friend after getting high on weed.
Yea, it's a little strange. It definitely wasn't like others I've seen. I still think it was good though :)

Man in an Orange shirt is FANTASTIC. I've watched that so many times that I practically know the letter by heart. Mind you, I didn't care for part 2 except for the fact that it answered some questions regarding part 1 plus it had Vanessa Redgrave. The characters in Part 2 just did not have the chemistry of Part 1. If I had to rank my favourite gay movies that would hold the No. 1 spot when it pushed Brokeback Mountain to the No. 2. Free Fall currently holds my No. 3 spot.

How about My Beautiful Laundrette (1985)?
a movie that came out in 2015 but just made it to Netflix a couple of months ago, is a pretty good watch.....not a perfect Hollywood blockbuster....but it is a great watch...check out Timeout - a Bollywood movie that takes on the perspective of a 14 yr old straight boy who idolizes his big brother who comes out as gay....and the hypocrisy of liberalism over traditionalism....it's a must watch

I'd hate to live in your head, you like some of the darkest, most tragic gay films made. With the exception of a few of the films, the rest have that "being gay is so tragic" vibe. I'd pass on all of those. "Shelter" YES! "Love, Simon" YES! "A Beautiful Thing" Yes! But the rest of those are some of the darkest and most depressing LGBTQ movies that I will gladly skip.

Don't tell me you're gay if you found this video and haven't seen Love Simon, Prayers for Bobby, My best friend which actually isn't really gay kind of thing for me. Mysterious skin is not that bad neither good. But here some of my best recommendations to watch which y'all surely never heard of or at least haven't watched it before.
1. Consequences (my advice for y'all gays, don't be a cheap gay)
2. Parting glances (damn! They have some bois are spicy af! Specially the vinyl guy)
And the common ones.
1. Beach Rats is one of my fav eventho the storyline is a bit sucks.
2. Dating amber is pretty funny, not a joke. I mean, srsly! It's pretty funny all the time amber spill her typical words with some Ireland swearings.
3. Handsome devil is fine eitherway. The skinny guy is acting on before Dating Amber's released.
4. Pride is great, quite a bit of feeling proud of myself because of it after watching em standing with the striking miners.
Still a bunch I can't write, need a whole day just to write for em. Mean not really, but gotta think which one I should recom.

Mysterious Skin was beautiful but I would have a really hard time watching that again.
I agree! Not an easy movie to watch at all. But it is very well made.

That ew me except Thailand BL series, 2gether. The rest, don't you spill off the titles!
Why do all gay movies have to be about abuse, closeted gays, breaking our hearts, AIDS, suicide, and gay bashing? And even when that doesn't happen, the couples either break up, marry straight partners, or get hit by a truck. Why, after decades of this plus earlier, being depicted as villains or comedy relief or victims, can't we have genre movies such as romances, horror, sci fi, fantasy, mystery, action adventure or combos of all of those, instead of depressing material? We get all the earlier stuff was difficult and still is for many but why can't we have genre films, too? Probably because they don't sell as well. We started to in about 2002 or earlier but that just almost totally stopped.
I have seen misteruis skin and it's disturbing and 😥
It's definitely not an easy movie to watch. Very sad plot for sure.
