These $500,000 Rolls Royce Cullinans keep showing up at the Salvage Auction. Most of them have damage that looks like they can be rebuilt; but the exclusive parts catalog makes it very difficult. Wait till you see what they sell for!

Shite vid Sam, we don't watch you for lot tours
@@Beauloqs Dunno bout that mate. I likes 'em.
That Cullinan was at our bodyshop. It has suspension, quarter, wheelhouse ,rail damage.
@@Beauloqsthey are actually the most entertaining vids on the channel
Appreciate the final sale prices. Thanks.
That Cullinan for $364k makes no sense at all! 2023’s are selling for that with a clean title ready to go.
I guarantee that in 30-40 years these will be worth nothing, just like 80s Rolls Royces now.
@@andyw8558yes and no. They are very, very comfortable with very high quality materials etc.
Does anyone need that? Hell no. If I could afford one without it making any noticeable dent on my bank account, would I buy it? Well, no, but that's just me. I understand people that buy them, as other luxury goods. Nobody needs a Ferrari or a V12 Lambo, nor a Bugatti or any Rolls. But if you have more money than you can figure out where to use it at, they are pretty tempting targets. Would be for me, at least.
@@andyw8558 But if you have worked hard and have 200 million saved or more and have to spend before you die, what are you going to spend it on ? Can't take it with you . . .
@andyw8558 My parents are long-term members of our local country club and know all the other members.
The wealthiest member whose fortune is more than 200 million drives either a Buick Envision or a Chevy Silverado.
He says people with real money don't drive flashy cars or live a flamboyant lifestyle because they don't have anything to prove.
@williamegler8771 well that may be his opinion on spending money but to some wealthy people a car is just a car. Its all relative. I'm assuming he lives in a house that is far bigger than his actual requirements.
Whens your step mom coming back

I'd like to see Sam in her content.

Bruh
That Cullinan sold for more than the county claims my house is worth.
Let that sink in...
I believe you.
We live on 40 acres a few miles off the road going from FL to CA with a 3,000sq' climate controlled garage and the parish has us valued for less then 1/2 of a good Cullinan. My '67 bigblock Vette I bought in '73 I'd still keep over a Cullinan! My other baby is '87 911 Turbo (505) I bought new and has under 15,000 miles and I wouldn't take a Cullinan for it either. I get more compliments with them then I'd look as a old Viet Vet driving a Cullinan. I don't live in Miami! I've had a dealers license for 44 years but stopped going to auctions and only my friends use it. They all chip in and pay a few bucks to keep it. Until November cars get destroyed driving. I blew an engine on a 370Z Nismo a month ago and it was my fault for driving it. You only drive a good truck when it's 100°F outside and 90% humidity. Maybe it's a blown head gasket?
Ah, my Illinois brother
I would sell my house for 150.000€... And make a huge profit
This was like Antique Roadshow for car people. Really enjoyed it. I wish I could type out that sound when the item loses value. do do do doooooo
FYI on the C5 Corvette Z06: These cars are pretty important, historically speaking. All the lightweighting, suspension/chassis, gearing, and power effort on the C5 Z06 Corvette was worth it in the end as it had one of the fastest Nürburgring times and lap times of any production car in its era. "When the C5 Corvette Z06 clocked its 7:56 Ring time (remember this was 20+ years ago and the track wasn't as optimized as it is now), it was a pretty big deal. GM claimed it was the first true stock/production car to break past the eight-minute mark."
They even went so far as to put titanium exhaust on the car from the factory; the first true production car to do so, thinned the window glass, removed sound deadening, lighter weight Speedline wheels from Italy, stiffer and lighter body compared to the base C5 hatchback, stiffer suspension, etc. etc.
Oh, and this was also during the era of the C5-R dominating GT racing, including multiple 24 Hours of Le Mans wins.
The fact that the first Cullinan sold for $364k is crazy!
Especially since they're butt-ugly, and that one in particular with the hideous paint and interior color. lol People have too much money and too little taste.
Maybe it was owned by someone famous?
Maybe they are shipped to Saudi Arabia. Who knows...
realy enjoyed the walking talking damage appraisal if it's worth and price sold for very informative. thx
Glad you enjoyed it
It's about taxes. Some countires are charging taxes for imported cars based on the price you paid. If you paid lower price because the car was damaged - you are paying less money to bring it into the country. Rebuild, sell with 35% profit
It's true. If you're from the US, it seems insane. Import tariffs, licenses, certificates, carnets, inspections, insurance policies, tests, attorney and notary fees, affidavits, and state, local and federal taxes on new cars can be >$100% of the US purchase price, especially in island countries with no domestic production like Singapore. These must surely enter foreign lands as 'totaled' or parts cars to be viable business propositions at the prices quoted in the video, right?
Yeah, in some countries these have been even more expensive - by a lot.
But if you are bringing in a used car in bad shape, it's way cheaper. Negative side is, that with this kind of prices they need to be businesses, who will make it as fast as possible with as little money thrown to it as possible. Maybe these are too expensive to cobble up in worst possible ways, but they are in it for the profit.
Maybe there is a very blue Cullinan interior on eBay right now, either that or violently orange one. I doubt, they were too expensive to be Frankensteined together.
For similar reasons, my country has legislation on the percentage of major parts you can swap on a car before it's considered "new" and the quite hefty first registration tax must be paid again (50% or more for cars originally first registered here, 33% or more for cars which were imported used).
Reason for this is that before the legislation, people would for example buy a registered clapped-out base model Mercedes, then they'd go abroad to buy a used similar Mercedes in good condition and with all the options for much cheaper than what it would cost here due to taxation, then they'd import it but never register it to avoid paying taxes on it since instead they'd do a full-on unibody and drivetrain etc. swap onto the already registered clapped-out one. And presto, they'd now have a good fully loaded Mercedes without having paid anything to the tax man - and thus this was clamped down on.
Click bait title.
Man the bronco going for 18K was crazy

That is true but does he finish them I think that is the issue for sam
Good job Sam, glad to see Sage along for the video.
Adding in the final bid prices adds an entertaining guessing game to your show. Keep it in!
They never open up, except that one
That astro right by the c8 is a peach
Would love to see an AWD astro back on the road again. So utilitarian and dang comfortable.
Love seeing Auction videos with you telling the prices! Keep up the good work.
Someone scored big on that Bronco
Be perfect for a off-road build. Tube frame buggy front end.
Good one Sam! I like this type of content. You give good info on this video
This has a Speed channel feel from back in the day. An Antique Roadshow kinda thing. I like it. Have a great day!
Sam's uploads are my rarer then flying pigs
These episodes at the yard are very entertaining. Especially when you show what they were sold for.
You can check the year of the car when you look at the codes in the windows. At least in Europe you can.
Keep up the fun vids sam, you made me realize i could fix my car after i totaled it and it looks nearly new again!
Your walkthrough of all these salvage cars reminds me of the late night Cal Worthington commercials from the 70's and 80's (southern California thing)
Babe wake up new Samcrac video just dropped
new video: Samcrac vs somecrack in Rolls Royce
Sad sad little man
Love this style of video. Especially the final bid price. Thanks Samcrac !!!!!
I bought a 2015 XK with the NA 5.0 as an airport car. Its been the most reliable car ever....after I replaced the factory water pump. Its basically built with Ford parts underneath and a Mustang Gt motor. Good looks, cheap and goes.
No you seriously didn’t put mustang motor in a Jaguar.
@@The_North0 The 5.0 Jag motor was designed by Ford back in the early 2000's with a milder cam (385 vs 415HP). Suspension, engine, misc parts all have the FoMoCo stamp. It was a tongue in cheek reply....but kinda true.
Awesome. It’s always a good day when Sam puts a video up.
black jag at 20:51
That Cadillac Escalade was a 600. 6.2 supercharged 0 to 60 4.3
Supposedly, if you buy a vehicle here in the states a d then you transport it to an import country where vehicles are imported for completion and then shipped to the states, so Mexico usually, then the import fee to a country like China or Japan is cut down to 10% or 12% as opposed to the 30-40% it can be for some vehicles. Countries like Philippines, Pakistan, Turkmenistan won't even let you import some vehicles like a Cullinan. But since it's a BMW product, you buy a damaged one, show them it's a BMW X7, then you just import the repair parts and you're good to go. No matter how much money you have you can't get some luxury brands like Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston-Martin, Ferrari or Lamborghini. But Audi, BMW, Mercedes make utility vehicles so you can also claim them for a farm exemption tax in some countries
you cant import a crash damaged car to mexico
Hey Dude, please do more of auction stuff, it’s so addictive and post more often
Omg, I see Allen’s used auto parts in the background. I know where that is. Where you at Copart in Riverview? Unlike other Copart’s some will sell to the public but, of course this one won’t.
All Coparts in the state of Florida require a business license. It's not Copart Policy, its state law. In Georgia you can buy Salvage Title cars at Copart without a license! It varies state to state
Do some more of these videos
Thanks for prices
I’ve seen some newer Mercedes do crazy shit when the second battery is messed up. Some that use an electric water pump I’ve seen overheat from it.
switch the channel to just going to auctions?? kidding, keep on keeping on.
Very cool stuff. Took me back to engineering school for a moment. Now I need therapy again.
I love that you’re posting the prices that it sold at. Maybe start adding color to the prices to let us know if it’s a good, bad, or average buy
S550 at 12:00 or so is bad news. M278 engine with a misfire is a scored cylinder. Needs a new longblock.
Yeah, definitely a more problematic motor than the newer gen turbo V8s
Sam these are some of my favorite videos of yours, I don't know why
Honestly I kind of find this format enjoyable. Just looking at what's available and seeing like kind of what's the story. What people are making profit wise what cars you're going for right now.. it's actually kind of a fun thing and neat to know the market
Check Matt Armstrong's latest video on replacing that RR rear quarter panel and see what work is involved, especially if inner wheel arch and trunk structure is damaged, then you will see why its an insurance write off.
Property is looking beautiful. I am surprised you do not make a nice large decomposed granite with binder to create a car show pad under a big shade tree. Nice vids always. Thank you.
Thanks for showing the cars and their final bid prices... SO many TH-camrs show Copart cars and never list what they sold for.
I think the 2023 Bronco would of been my choice, my wife wants one of those and it does not look like a crazy hard fix...
Theres a cover plate the length of the underside of the corvette. So unlikely it has a hole in the oil pan.
Super fun joining you at auction.
Sam, I recently got recommended by youtube boats, haulover inlet and the chit show black point marina with the crock. Man. I checked prices on those boats, nice nor-tech gonna set you back half a million. Come on do auction on a boat with trailer.
Awesome walk round and price reveal….keep them coming
The Hertz Shelby's in 66 were actual GT350s not just fastbacks with a V8. They bought 1000 from Shelby. Most were black and gold but limited numbers came in other colors with gold stripes and said GT350H on the rocker. Most were atuos but some were 4 speeds.
Yes, the original Rent a Racer program was something special. Modern Hertz "Shelby" Cars are not much more than an air intake and a few badges. I read that this Mach-E Comes with an electronic (speaker box) exhaust 😂
Great upload as usual Sam, thank you and keep doing what you love!
That Audi A8L is cool, but those Optima's next to it always catch my eye.
A Cullinan is just a rebodied VW Atlas
I think you're confusing things with the Bentiguan
@@Samcrac everything is a rebodied Atlas
@@SamcracAudi Q7, Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga, Rolls Royce Cullinan, Porsche Cayenne Range Rover Sport … all the same, right?
Wallter go to the Rolls-Royce dealership, this one is dirty. 💲💰
Here in Australia you will see stupid prices on exotics due to international buyers. Car that are statuary write offs (unable to be registered here in Australia) typically bought and send to middle east.
I really like these lot walks you do. I'd like to see more of them.
well sam the car has a few LOOSE SCREWS ?? perfect match lol
My cousin owns and races an original Hertz Mustang at Le Mans and other races. He runs it in the gentlemen drivers class. It’s called “Stinky”. 😂😂
I would have no problem spending your money in the auction Sam :). But seriously, you have the know how and experience with these situations. Fun to watch your channel. Thanks.
In arizona, you cant get the title if the bank owns jt still. The bank will always havr the title until its laid off. In arizona, title is proof of ownership. There may be leans on it which means the car can not be registered until leans are paid off. Unless its a bank ownership lean. Then at registration, title is digitally sent to bank, and once paid off the bank releases rhe lean and rhe MVD sends you the title in the mail.
3:39 I need more information on that 6-wheel Ranger with 4 steer tires!!! LOL
I thought the same thing! 😂
You may be big n sh*t but you ain't no Ford Ranger!
The J-gate and fender are the obvious tells. 2006 XKR came with an impressive 420hp and an Eaton supercharger, along with super reliable plastic timing chain guides and water pump.
z06 was a steal! 2003 with 37K miles> easy 2K$ in parts> Done and done!
Those Rolls are crazy! The interiors are crazy
Sam "Ooooo what is this?"
Me - "it's a Hyundai, nothing special"
Sam "it's a Mustang"
Me - "oh, you were looking at that one....." 😂
The rollers are like tools at tool auctions, they go for loads more than they are worth..
Made the front end mimic a f 150😂
I liked this video format. Do some more every month or two.
Love the auction tours
Hey Sam, the clarity of the video is unbelievable, I'm only watching it at 7:20 p 60 FPS and wow, what is your camera setup if you mind me asking? Because the clarity and clearness of the video is unreal especially for only 720
How a guy like this who doesnt turn a single wrench becomes famous is beyond me.
Love these auction videos!!
All C8s will show 0 for oil pressure when your just on the accessory mode. Not fully started up. That 0 oil presssure is probably not an issue what so ever,
Tons of modern muscle cars leave the US to EU. Insurance companies and DMVs oversees do not recognize a US title regarding car history. They only use it for ownership evidence. Hence a lot cars involved into accidents make it to East EU, getting repaired with aftermarket parts and end up in the grey import market. Prices are high and it must be rewarding at the bottomline of the P&L. Some cars getting back into the market that I wouldn't touch with a 10ft pole!
The yellow corvette are steal
The Z1 m BMW sick and this is your new project you need to take !!!
My guess it's being exported to Russia I believe if the car is totaled they save on taxes when imorted. Once fixed up it will probably go for double, $700k
These auction yard videos are great. Where I live in the UK, these are only open to car dealers/dealerships now. I miss just mooching around and watching random auctions in places like this.
I swear i drove that black badge lightning blue cullinan in sarasota 2 months ago, paper tag, had 42 miles on it 😭

Following the trend I see.
Someone really paid almost full price for a C8. I remember when that RX-7 guy Dahm had one, couldn't get that front absorber.

Interesting video sam, what did you buy then?!.🤔✨💫✨💫👍👍
That's a wild price 😄
Yeah Sam I do enjoy these videos thanks
Sam can now work as private investigator. Great job
Wow they let you walk around the lot? Here you have to make an appointment and they give you an escort. 2 hour time limit and 6 car limit to look at. That and the huge fees they charge has pretty much ended my copart rebuild hobby. :(
Free escort? Sign me up.
That bronco was a steal
Great Video...Thank You!
Great video. Where is that salvage lot located?
XKR had vents in the bonnet
Omg Sage showed up in this video
I took a car vertical package and the info I got on the cars I checked was no where near what is shown by various TH-camrs. For me, car vertical was next to no use at all. There are plenty other check services available which proved to be better. So take what you hear with a large pick of salt.
I’m taking that Halloween cullinan all day
Depending on the miles that C8 is a $75K mile car MAX. Convertibles are $80-85K !!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW....the finance company has first rights to the car, regardless of the shop fees !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it’s crazy as hell that people are coming out here.buying wrecked cars for the price that you can go to a car lot and get the same thing. Crazy.
