Thank you both for alowing me to travel with you both and experience you r channel and your other channel learning alot and following in your footsteps
Never been to Hawaii but thanks for the tour....looked like the camp grounds are pretty full (turn off) but some things you have to deal with to keep the price tag down...RIGHT? GOOD JOB GUYS!
That's what I want to find along the California Coast, camping sites in the beach. If you know any, please let me know. Cheap n free is my preference.🤓🤠
Since you both are currently visiting Aotearoa New Zealand, some related information in regards to the famous Polynesian ancestor “Maui” and his connection to NZ. The North Island is commonly referred to among Maori as Maui’s great fish (Te Ika Nui a Maui) great video show casing the natural beauty of Hawaii (Hawaiki)
Can't wait to see you guys enter Van Life boon docking, because you guys are both fearless adventurers. The road less traveled is often the most beautiful and peaceful. Please please though don't go insta-glam Life on us stay genuine and real!
Thank you two, instant sub to the "new" to me channel. This video hit so close for me. It really makes me appreciate all of the beautiful things I have seen in Oregon and 12 other western states. Been in many caves, seen many waterfalls, hiked many trails, enjoyed many beaches, mountains, canyons, forests and that tree reminded me of the Octopus (Tako?) tree at Cape Meares. So much beauty in the world and so little time. Camped in the high desert in Oregon. Nice during the day but low 30's at night. Brrrrr, wasn't ready for that.
I subscribe to OutDoorChefLife, I stumbled onto this channel. Can I say that this is perfect for watching during our current lock down. Love the name! It's brilliant. I'm so happy to see you both making awesome content together! Bendiciones, blessings to you both....
Hosmer Grove is in Haleakala National Park. Volcano national park is on the big island. It does have running water and grills but it does get very cold and is very small. If you don't mind not having running water, you can camp at almost any beach as long as you are fishing. If you come back to Maui I'll show you the better options.
If you guys want a unique Hawaiian lava tube experience, find a good scuba dive outfit, get certified, and scuba up a lava tube. It's a whole different world down there. Great video!
Hey Taku! been watching for about 8 months, I don't even fish. I just love your enthusiam and energy into what u love. I have watched you filet 100's of fish without ever even doing it myself. Your videos are steadily getting better every time. I let my 5 year old watch with me at, night before we go to bed, and she happens to love you too. Maybe we can come see you at your restaurant, or catch some fish with you! I hope everything goes well regardless. - NickR from FL
i am really enjoying this channel and am happy to hear more from josslyn! i just sincerely hope that you are not giving up OutdooChefLife because it is also fun and exciting to watch! i love to see taku's fabulous and confident cooking, and equally enjoy watching josslyn's appreciation of the delicacies he feeds her. please keep doing both channels!!!
Shout out all the way from Australia! Been following your awesome work with outdoor chef life, looking forward to going on this new journey with you guys!
I'm going to Click and Subscribe if you stay with this format. More content more conversations vs drone shots and quick cut scenes. We're going also, but, no n longer camping because of homeless issues (mostly homeless tourist NOT Native Hawaiians). Keep the longer conversations. I listen to 3 hrs podcast so this format is norm to me. Safe travels. Ignore there Hate and Cat Calls Trolls.
Taku, Jocelyn, I just took my kids to Maui for a week then Kauai for a week in July/ Aug of this year. We recognize quite a few places in your vlogs on both of your channels, but I see we missed a few spectacular waterfalls. I wish I had more time and money. I would have stayed longer. We are from South East Florida. Love your content!
When we went to the crater in late July this year there was a 30 degree difference. After sunset, at that altitude, it was 55 degrees. Crazy! Going back down it got back to the low 80s.
👍 You probably learned that the crazy giant tree with "roots" growing down from the limbs is a Banyan (an import to Hawaii)! There's a much bigger one in Lahaina, Maui -- near the courthouse and waterfront! Have fun, good luck! 😎
Watching you hike up to the waterfall and seeing the bamboo on either side, I'm thinking, I bet they're going to get some bamboo shoots to cook up. Then I see Jocelyn holding one 😂. I love fresh bamboo shoots.
Love the Vid ✊🏼🧐😎🤙🏼!! Im glad you 2 started this new channel 😉👌🏼. Keep em coming guys.. same Content!! Cant wait to see whats next, & That kimchi rice looked 🔥🔥🔥 b.t.w.
Jocelyn rightfully doesn't like the camp sites, i would chose a location that is NOT too popular for it, or just set a tent anywhere else, because living in a camp site with 20 other families, with all the noise & hassle is missing out on the essence of camping, which is being at one with the nature, not with crowds....
I will start binge watching this
You guys are inspirational folks
Thanks guys
I’m hooked to your vlogs guys! So impressed with the both of you .what a good team Keep it up Never a dull moment watching your adventures 😘🥰👍👏👏👏

Its best to go to haleakala for sunrise you have to make a reservation in advance and wake up super early but its worth it

The kimchee comment was funny. Don't eat all of it, ok.
How do you shower at the campsites with regards to privacy or do you shower in your bathing suit?
Jeremy MacCarthy we shower with our bathing suit on. The campsite with an outdoor shower, everyone else also showered with bathing suits
