- I recorded this walk using a DJI Osmo. The distance of the walk is 3.2 miles from the Andaz hotel to the Fairmont hotel and return on the Wailea Beach Path on Maui. Going to use this on my treadmill in winter!
The entire recording at 4K was 21GB for 47 minutes of video. I found no problem with battery life. Worked just fine. Holding it while walking was easy and not uncomfortable. I used an iPhone 5s. - กีฬา

Siobhán Ellen, my mom is doing rehab here at the house because of the quarantine and is watching this video while she “rides”. When the first people walked by, I yelled “watch out! Don’t run over their feet!” And she ducked and said “oh no!!” Lol

I LOVE music-- all kinds...but music covering up the glorious sound of nature--can't stand it! Music would ruin this...like trying to 'fix' what isn't broken.

I enjoyed this walk. This is the first time I was able to walk so long on my treadmill thanks to you. The scenery, hearing the waves splash and actually feeling as if I was the one who was walking I found myself nodding my head to those who passed by and laughed to myself. And the ending of the walk was perfection.

My daughter lived on Maui for 6 years and I never visited. This walk was incredibly beautiful and just what I was looking for. I use a walking pad in my home office while I work but I enjoy just walking at a brisk pace for mental breaks. Thank you for recording and posting this,

Thanks for keeping it straightforward, it works beautifully. I hate the ones where they record a minute or two and then play it on a loop. I will look forward to my treadmill sessions from now on!

Great! Running on my threadmill, but feeling like in paradise. Instead of boring news in TV, having an outtime in nature. Virtual, but with my fan it feels a bit like! Thx a lot for that. Will using it again for feeling like in a short weekend vacation...

Thank you! Your camera is so clear and steady. I always look for the tree photographed and posted by many at 18:11 and again 28:30. In 1995 I first stopped to admire this tree and its magnificent location. I relive my walks through your video along that path throughout 25 years.

Beautiful! I have done this walk about 500 times and this year not able to go due to COVID. I loved walking to this on my treadmill this morning.I even recognized some of the locals walking the path. Next time I will wear headphones to enjoy the sounds of the waves and birds. Absolutely perfect way to distress. Thanks so much for sharing.

Way cool. I haven't seen that stretch of beach in a long time. That walkway (1:38 through 2:38) sure brought back some memories though. I was the project manager for the company that built the short walkway with the cable rails and turned posts. It was a very controversial project at the time, and we met with a LOT of local resistance. It is good to see it has survived. At the time it was built, it was in front of Stoffers of Wailea, which has since changed hands I imagine. I also worked on the Palms of Wailea, just up the hill from there, during its first phase of construction. The whole area east along the beach is sure full now. It was about empty when I lived there.

I lived in Hawaii for almost four years. I had to leave with the military 15 years ago and haven't been back. Stumbling upon this video made me so happy! Thank you for filming it. Now, because of you I can sit back and pretend I'm walking the paths. Much Aloha to you!

Wife and I watch this video (4K) over and over and fell in love with it. We live in Vegas and finally retiring in 2017 and are planning to buy a small condo and retire in south Kihei in the future.
