The love that you placed into a kit when it is down is very admirable. Many would throw it into the trash, but restoring it says a lot about your dedication to the hobby!
I tip my hat for doing all the restauration work. I would have trashed it in the bin. You clearly showed, the rare A310 kit was worth the hassle. Very well done!
Thank you for your nice comment. Well the Revell A310 is quite a rare kit those day, and spending another 50 Euros for the Eastern Express was not on my agenda ;-) and honestly having this type of feedback is also a motivation to put the extra work.
Instead of sanding, I can recommend paint stripper. I found one recently that is very easy to use, VMS clean slate, from a polish company, but there are others available if you search for it. This one I could add with a brush and 10 minutes later most of the paint comes off easily.
For the wing I use a mix of white and light grey, but to be honest I mainly use the bold eye until I reach the wanted coloraturas. For the corregar, I used a mix of darker grey and metallic paint. I hope this help ;-) Thank you for your loyalty
