Great job and on such a small scale! Amazing work with those decals....lots of straight lines 😜Super receiving third place in your local comp so congratulations.
What a really beautiful model ... Good job ! Thanks for the Silver Mica paint mix formula as in the future I'm going to build a Zvezda 777-300ER American Airlines livery.
Did you paint over the kit's transparent windows? Did you putty them first, or just paint over as is? (sorry, I'm about to do my first airliner, I usually build 1/350 warships)
Good question, I puttied and sanded them before painting. There's no guarantee your window decal will line up perfectly with the kit windows, so its best to start with a smooth clean surface
Hi, I just purchased this kit and it my first since I built a kit when I was 18. LONG TIME AGO. You put in the windows then primed and painted over them??? Is that the preferred way to do it at this scale. I can’t imagine masking those. Thanks!
👍 For those seams, they're a nightmare (if they are actually present). On this plane, thanks to good kit engineering they aren't there. See 2:01 and thats the front of the cowling moulded as 1 circular piece. On other planes Ive used either a thin round metal file, or sandpaper wrapped and super glued to a toothpick. If you want to see this technique in action, check out my Solaseed Air 737 build at 2:39. Each method is tough and usually takes multiple putty/sand attempts.
Both. I use warm water to separate the decal from the backing. While Im positioning it on the model, sometimes I use water, sometimes I use decal solution (Microset). I honestly cant tell the difference so it just depends on my mood. Once its in place, I always use a decal softener (Microsol) to help it conform and sink into the panel lines even better.
I believe the cone on the back of the engine is literally just called an “exhaust cone”, I think it’s used to collect all the discharge gasses that the main turbine produces!
You did a great job, but there's no way I would want to work in 1:144...I can't even stand 1:72. You must have nerves of steel and patience by the truckload.
Amazing job man! That looks sooo good😍
👍👍👍 Many thanks!
Zokerj I’m im a huge fan
Zockerj??? I watch your channel
The cone thing in the back is called the exhausted nozzle. Great build!
wow the door decals are cry on detail! The Z Handle looks great. remins me of my time as 737-800 First Officer :)
Great build, looks perfect! This was an awesome reference to use while building my AA 737-800, so that worked out well!
Glad I could help!

Thank you very much!
Better build quality, materials and reliability than the real model!
hahahaha 😆
The cone is the exhaust nozzle. Those are usually metallic-blue when they leave the GE Engines factory. Good job on the model. Nice build.
Thanks for the info!

Have fun!
Looks great, I think you deserve it!! God bless your talent!!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for the build video! "Scale Model Assassin" - LOL!
its called an LPT cone, the low pressure turbine section of the engine where the oil flows for bearing cooling and lubrisation,
Nice one! I really like your work, although I'm not that into airliners. Congrats to your 3rd place! Cheers!!!
I appreciate it. Thanks for the support!
Beautiful !
👍👍👍

Great build! 1:34 That's known as the exahust nozzle I belive
👍👍

Ive always used window decals to avoid having to mask the windows.
@@ScaleModelAssassin Thanks!
Excelent work I really like a Lot zvezda models recently I build an Ilyushin IL 62 and the details are awsome and nice to work with
Thanks and I agree. Zvezda does an excellent job. Just wish they made a smaller scale...only to take up less space on the shelf
How do you adress the inevitable seams that present themselves inside the engine cowlings, top/bottom ? Nice build

Gorgeous work!
Hi, are you planning to assemble a Boeing 777-300er 1: 144 United Airlines New livery?
Sorry no plans right now. Im currently working on a 777 for LATAM airlines' stormtooper plane though.
Ah sick!, that looks pretty stunning nice job🇺🇲
Thank you! Cheers!
Good result mate !!!
Cheers 👍👍

Makes sense, it was too obvious for me to guess. I was thinking it would have some scientific name, but I like the simplicity
Hey, where do you get your decals from. Thanks!
Awesome work, im building this rn, but with the livery it comes with
Nice! Best of luck with your build
That pointy thing is the exhaust nozzle!
haha thanks, I guess I thought it would have a more technical name, but it seems very obvious now
Beautiful work though!
Very nice model!
Thank you very much!
do flair 737 max 8 assembly model next
Nice work
The 737 does be a sexy plane tho I do have to admit to be more of a 700 lover more than a 8max
Lol. I like the scimitar winglets
Nice job.
Thanks!
Very nice!
Thank you! 👍
Nice work! How can i purchase the kit !!??
Thanks! Try searching "Zvezda 737 max"
Does the gear roll?
Where to buy that?
wonderful✨👍
Thanks!

Thank you, you're correct on the patience aspect. So many tiny parts to deal with
Do you also sell these models?
Yep Im open to selling. Send me an email if you're curious scalemodelassassin@gmail.com
Beautiful! Most airliner builds are awful... undulating windows and titles etc. Nice idea on the engines too!
Agreed...those long, straight decals have to be perfect.
Man I wish I can make something like that with my Own Livery :(
The info about the paint mixture ratio is totally inaccurate!
Bro… I almost bought it
If I ever buy it then I hire you xD bc I can’t this stuff
Haha hit me up
I will not be able to paint any of that.
Its not too bad!
Hand painting fan spiral....gulp.
Between the 2 sets of decals I had, I was surprised the spiral wasn't included. No other choice but to paint it
@@ScaleModelAssassin Well, I wouldn't have the skills! Maybe an old worn one! 😎
Hahaha! You dropped it on the floor. I was waiting for the accident, being a Max!
nose first into the Earth...I mean carpet
