ordered mine in soul red crystal get it in october cant wait...... subbed and liked too buddy here in the uk we only get leather inside on the GT mode all other trims are cloth l..and no moonroof........but we do get navigation built in
only the premium trim has leather, the other trims are "pleather". FWIW nice review, I have a 2019 FWD premium hatch and no regrets. I live in upstate NY so lots of experience with snow, when I purchased I had to choose between FWD and AWD and decided on FWD/Auto trans then bought a set of mounted snow tires. The car is great in the snow if you put on the proper tires, so AWD isn't required IMHO. I test drove an AWD sedan then a FWD hatch and found the FWD to be slightly "sportier", mainly lighter steering and feel, which I preferred. Only other comment is the manual transmission also requires premium trim, which means much more expensive than the base model if you want a stick. BTW: been driving my car over a year and never noticed that rotating knob on the infotainment display... Usually use Waze and Spotify, so I don't mess with the infotainment much.
grats on the purchase, i'm working on getting the turbo hatch next month. this will be my 4th mazda (3rd mazda 3). so stoked for it. the extra torque and hp made it a no brainer for me... the only disappointing part is the lack of manual transmissions in the AWD and turbo, but who knows what the uture will bring.
LOL! "Let me talk with my hands off the steering wheel while I am driving forward." Later, "let me look at stuff down by the steering wheel while I am moving."
Biggest difference comes down to tech. 2020 Mazda3 comes with Mazda Connected Services. Remote start/stop/lock/unlock/panic all can be activated remotely for this car via Mazda phone app. Onboard WiFi is available. Telematics are completely different from 2019 namely because 2019 had no telematics. I’ve heard for 2021 3 they’re changing some things with trims. Navigation and upgraded BOSE will no longer be standard on Preferred but they will make a moonroof standard on the mid range Preferred trim.
My 2022 Mazda 3 Sport GT AWD (Canadian equivalent to premium and Sport is the hatch in Canada) in Platinum quartz met. is on its way from Japan, well it's on a train somewhere at this moment and I'll take delivery in the coming few weeks! Getting excited. Do you have any advice/anything I should watch out for?
Paint and plastic protect it! The paint is really thin. Since this video I have done 42k miles in mine (I have videos about that on my channel) and my only major complaints are the amount of rock chips on the front (very common) and the interior plastics scratch easily. So I’d get basically a screen protector for the inside if you can. Especially around the shifter.
@@ShootingCars good idea, I already have some plastic protective film coming cut specific for the interior around the shifter trim and I'll be getting the 3m protection for the front end, hood, maybe the front windshield roof line which they offer from the dealership. Will check the rest of your videos if I haven't already. Thanks!
The hatch looks better for me.. I suppose this must be a really good car that you bought one just 6 days after the review.. I mean are you even planning of buying before that considering its a big financial decsion to make?congrats for the car..wow..
I was considering selling my car before I made this video, but while filming it became clear to me what I wanted. Fun fact, while Filmimg the outside shots of the car, I messaged a friend to buy my current car. I’ve so far put over 6,000 miles on my personal Mazda 3 hatch and it has been the best purchase I’ve ever made.
mostly the same, but they do have different differential gearing so the CX30 will be a little slower than the Mazda 3 even though they have basically the same powertrain.
Just bought a used 2020 AWD Mazda 3. Already in love with it. Best purchase I have ever made.
I’m think about getting one soon. After owning it for over a year do you have any complaints?

Haha you said you'd buy a sedan but bought the hatch! The new hatch design kind of grew on me, it looks very classic and distinctive.
Same thing happened to me. I preferred the sedan at first but gradually embraced the new hatch design. It is indeed distinctive but grows on you.
I love the hatch and think the sedan looks too much like every other car on the road, the hatch looks like a japanese alfa romeo, especially the rear.
Congrats on ur purchase! I would have gott the red. Mazda has one of the best reds in the business right now. Absolutely stunning color.
I have had my 2023 Mazda3 GT for a month and absolutely love it too
Congrats on your new car! Absolutely beautiful and great review. Can't wait for the turbo model. for sure I'll be picking one up withe the aero kit

I bought 2021 same color premium FWD 6MT and I love it. Hope you enjoy the car as well.
Hey, the MT only comes in fwd and premium right? Also it's black rims with premium? Thanks.
@@psycanauts592 that’s correct.
Cool.. i had 2021 AT demo and traded it in for 22 MT.. enjoy your ride.
@@psycanauts592 great, you made the right choice. I love the car and probably will keep until I can’t afford to fix it.

Pleather lasts longer than real leather. AWD is superior. 😆

the design gives me alfa romeo brera vibes
What car do you think has the best infotainment center?

What are the main differences between a 2019 and 2020 Mazda 3 hatchback? Assuming the same trim.
My car and the car in the review are not the same trim. However, between the 2020 and 2019 there are no major differences.

@4:49 How did Mazda’s designers let this itty bitty teeny weenie shriveled little icon get out there?
Would you go with this or the Kia Forte?
This car feels more premium to me. I would take this if I could, but the forte will fit most people's budget better
How does the 3 Hatchback compare with the cx30 for 2020. Is there any difference other than clearance and plastic
I have a cx-30 review as well on my channel!

I like hatchbacks
