1100 Yamaha Virago and how the engine should sound.

This video should only give you an idea of what an 1100 cc Virago sounds like with some holes in the exhaust and how a healthy engine should sound like.
The carbs were overhauled 2,000 km before the video was made and the bike runs like a racehorse.
New tires and brakes allow me to ride pretty fast, but I could never find out my and /high speed. The traffic in Thailand is too dangerous to ride faster than 160 km/h.
The fastest I did was 170 km/h, but then it became a bit too dangerous with people who do not look at U-turns. Just Googling the deadly accident rate in Thailand will show you why I'm careful.
Better to ride save than to be sorry. I'm not in the mood to be at the local hospital, in a wheelchair, or just dead.
These bikes are very reliable, but it's great if you can fix them most by yourself. It's a generation 2 bike, so no problems with the starter.
it's a special edition from Japan with the best possible gear ratio. The first, second, third and fourth gear has one more tooth than all other in American and Europe sold Viragos, ad the fifth gear has got two more teeth.
If you are able to overhaul your carbs and synchronize them properly, your Virago should sound like mine.

Buying an 1100 cc Virago is a great decision, the engines and everything else are very reliable.
