@ Agreed. Staying warm and dry in the mountains is always life or death. Especially in winter. I’m pushing my mid 50’s these days. I don’t do many winter mountaineering trips anymore , however we are all hardcore bow hunters and I find myself using the exact same techniques for staying warm and dry chasing animals in the mountains that we did throughout my 3 decade mountaineering excursions. We live for hunting. BTW I just ordered the Kelvin Hyper down in SA to replace my old Kelvin Lite down jacket.
Impressive content, SITKA Gear. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I hit the thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the excellent work. Your tips on staying warm during late season hunts are invaluable! How do you recommend balancing gear weight with the need for insulation when planning a long trek in extreme cold?
Great video! The Foss brothers know what's up!
Man oh man, so much admiration for the spirit and skills of you guys (and the good gear).
We appreciate the kind words.
These are all the same exact tricks we used to do in Winter Mountaineering to stay warm and dry.
Good stuff.
Great to see you're familiar with the concepts. We're all about staying warm and dry.

What model is that synthetic mountaineering boot?
I have the Kelvin Down WS Hoody which is pretty warm, what's the difference between it and the Hyperdown Jacket?
I thought that I was extreme, but you are intense...
Any plans to make a camouflage based on the vision of humans?
10/10 boys
I live right here and I do not need to ten overnight to hunt ;)
When you stuffed them in your coat, you forgot to lite them first.
Four cans for ten days?!!! I'd use eight cans for a weekend.
