I'm not into the SIMS like that, but it's crazy they haven't introduced wheelchairs, mobility scooters, crutches. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Anytime I’ve seen this type of thing polled and asked the consensus is that disabled folks play this game to escape, they don’t want to be reminded of such. This is why it has never materialized outside of things like mods.

To be fair, the Warewolves pack works way better and is more flushed out than literally EVERY family gameplay pack they've ever released...lol. The only other game packs that come close are Vampires and Realm of Magic; which tells you where the Sims team hearts lie. This high school pack is gonna be premade lots, recolors, and rabbit holes just like EVERY other family gameplay pack and I think we all know that deep down.
Thank god the werewolf pack is good bc I really wanted to buy it 😮💨. As for the high school pack, you’re completely right. Sims has shown time and time again they don’t care about family gameplay

Omg I just watched lilsimsies review on the werewolf pack and it was literally like CAS and Build/buy is great, there’s lore and a character named Greg and showed the main mechanics of the game and that’s it, like the game changers will get the pack, play it for a few hours, most of that time being in cas and build/buy and play a small part of gameplay and post a review of it the next day bc it gets numbers, the only person who’s reviews I trust are LGR’s and he doesn’t make sims videos anymore
The high school pack could be really fun for gameplay or a let down. Either way I’m excited
And boarding school would really do it for me 😖

My opinion it shouldn't just be a highschool pack, but a school pack in general. With University it makes sense for it to be separate since college and highschool are two very different experiences. However, I feel that if they just make a highschool pack there only going to start splitting up the other schools which makes no sense. Why would you make elementary school a separate pack, it's idk feels cash grabby in my opinion to make each individual stage of school.
You described so many high school aspects that r in the Sims 3 base game and the generations expansion. The bus, the being late, the prom, etc (they were all rabbit holes tho). I don’t care what nobody says I’ll always compare the sims 4 to the sim 3. I would still play the sims 3 if it could just run on a computer.
I agree. The sims had so much more to do but that game is really hard on my computer.
At this point I really like the mods. I just use the Sims base for builds. Other than that for game play and CAS mod is where it's at. The attraction mod is great. I know what Sims like my sim.

The kind of world that is so ableist that we get furry representation before wheelchairs… like good for them but I’m still waiting for them to fix the broken packs they’ve releases before. I will not be buying another pack until EA gets their crap together? Modders do more for the game 😭
As far as rabbit hole highschools I want it to be how playable careers are where sometimes you go and sometimes you don’t. So if you want to focus on your teens you can but if you want 8hrs to focus on the adults you can do that too.

I need more after school programs and preschool for toddlers. I’m of the opinion that if modders can figure it out, then the game developers that get paid to do solely this should be able to figure it out.

Wheelchairs probably will never be added to the game. Although it sucks I’m pretty sure the sims isn’t that type of game. The sims is mostly a reality escaping game and although the sims is a diverse game it probably won’t fit into the game
yeah I feel like we have a better chance at getting cars than wheelchairs and it's the sad truth😭 EA is very lazy and adding wheelchairs and crotches would require them to program wheelchair accessibility also
To be fair sims 3 HAD boarding school and it was like rabbit hole so that’s not a huge ask!! Idk if you played that as much but literally sims 2 had private school like principal meetings and stuff, and boarding schools existed in one of the sims 3 expansions like literally you’re speaking the dream mix of that all, would love.

I uninstalled all my EA games and origin yesterday. They pissed me off royally, and the live chat persons would not answer my questions. It was a battle of fuckery, and my patience has run dry.
I'm done with this company. But I will always be here to listen to Kenya drag the sims.

what gets me is the sims team is coming out with packs that moders have given us! get we be original we have a werewolf mod we have a go to school mod why bite off of mods give us something that we don't already have a mod for like disabilities or an entertainment world where we can go shopping to the movies a casino you know and not be rabbit holes. i agree with you 100% on all accounts about schools but i have all of that with the go to school mod and i do not think the sims team will give us what we need !!

In order for kids to skip school they’d have to actually go to school in the first place. You go to a lot during school hours and see kids chilling like go your ass to school!
woah im kinda shocked that the sims doesn’t have disability representation…even simulation games like Cities:Skylines, which really don’t focus individual human life but rather traffic, transportation, and city building, even that game has sims that are in wheelchairs…like granted it’s technologically much more difficult to implement disabled representation in a _life_ simulator like the sims but…it doesn’t matter…implement it…it’s insanely overdue insanelyyyy overdue. and it SHOULD be a free update bc it should be included in the base game but i do get your point how people make that argument in bad faith

As far as I'm concerned those aren't werewolves. They're furries. One of the people who worked on the concept art for how the "werewolves" would look is literally a furry artist. So that's what I'm calling it and it's no shade. If that's what you enjoy, more power to you. I tried to give the pack a chance on Saturday. Some of the townies in human form look cute, the world is pretty, & the lots were put together nicely. However, it still has A LOT of bugs that need to be fixed. For some reason the mixologist for the bar wouldn't show up so I couldn't try the new foods & drinks that came with the pack. Also, I'm pretty sure the pack broke one of my custom sliders. Thankfully I didn't pay for the pack & I took all of my saves out before I even installed it. However, I had to uninstall everything, reinstall the packs I had before & then do a factory reset. I'll stick with Spinning Plumbobs' werewolves. That mod runs better, it's way more fun, & you can choose the type of appearance your werewolf will have.

Funny listening to this cause most of that coding was in the sims 2 and sims 3.. hey made the game more streamline when they decided to make the exact same game on pc as on console … because earlier sims on consoles were completely different games which meant splitting budgets… but I can’t wait to see what actually come to fruition if the actually drop a high school pack

Which expansions/packs do you suggest for mainly building? Ion't feel like spending several hundreds of dollars to find out ahdskshkl
What I personally suggest is eco lifestyle, dream home decorator and seasons 👍🏾 but if you have an origin account they usually have sales where expansion packs are 50% off

-Eco Lifestyle
-Seasons
-Get Famous (for mansions mostly)
Side note: idk if you are console player or not, but if you play on pc and you are ok with using custom content, there is a creator called Peacemaker that makes addons for build mode for different packs (like different window and door variations). I highly suggest their content especially because its maxis match.

I can't believe the werewolf girls were that rude. I want the pack too but to make it seem like inclusively updating the game isn't as important as an occult?! Like: "nah Hun, it should be more important." The way simmers get their needs met is by mentioning what we would like changed or added to the game. Silencing people like that just cause you're happy is rude. But those are the same people who want everyone to get behind them when they request something... the double standards are showing🤦🏽♀️
