I hate when people try to defend the Sims 4 by saying there was stupid packs in the sims 3. Like the sims 3 made packs that were not necessarily wanted AFTER we had everything. And they didn’t drop the ball in any of their games.
Sims 3 Into the Future is silly but it’s real fun and very detailed and has lots to do, it also had like a sort of quest line that could be followed /if you wanted/ it was fab and honestly the sims 4 could never
sims 3 is sometimes silly but in a good way, its pure chaotic good. in sims 4 it is just pathetic cause there's no depth, lore and gameplay. sims 3 is fun when they were doing it for only 4 years but sims 4 has 6 years of development and still is horse shit
The Sims 3 had a *solid* foundation that expanded upon The Sims 2's gameplay and success, so the 'scummy' packs back then were somewhat less severe as the game overall was already pretty great. EA/The Sims 4 trashes that legacy and tried (and failed) to build the franchise from the ground up with mediocre gameplay and half-assed DLCs. They are happily ripping their customers off because they have no competition.
and also those packs were FLESHED OUT and filled to the brim with all kinds of content for all kinds of gameplay and rarely felt like a sell out expect for select few. The Sims 4 just sucks.
So many star wars games out there that could give people many, many hours of enjoyment vs this pack, which by the looks of things, will give people maybe 2 hours or so of fun and playable content

Also, there was apparently a questionaire/poll/whatever with what we want in the game and Star Wars was an option. You know what place that ended up in? LAST. LAST PLACE. AND OUT OF ALL THE THINGS THEY MADE THAT. Come on EA, is the mouse money that good, huh? Of course we get Star Wars, instead of.. idk, skin colors that don't make you look sick. Way to many ashy dark skintones that make your sims look dead and way too many light skintones that literally look like the sim has fricking jaundice. Why tf are the skintones so yellow. Why. Why do we have fricking GREEN AND RED SKIN IN THE BASEGAME WITHOUT ALIENS, but not good realistic skintones. Why do we have CHEESE COLORED HAIR but not darkblonde. Where is the soft light brown. Where are the graying options for all haircolors and not just dark brown. WHERE IS ALL THAT STUFF THAT SHOULD BE IN THE BASEGAME AND WHY DO WE GET STAR WARS INSTEAD. I feel so sorry for the Sims team, being forced to work on this and knowing what kind of shitstorm is coming for them.
I feel like a lot of people forget that this isn't the team's fault for this, it's EAs, so thank you for acknowledging that. The devs really don't deserve all the hate that they get, they're just doing their job at a company that hates the fanbases around its games.
Well not only that they keep saying everyone can create themselves in the sims but well not everyone because not only skin tones and hair colors are a flop but also what abou eyes like there are people who have different colored eyes we don't have that either :D nor do we have more body types and more sliders are definitely needed .... What people don't realize is that even though Sims feels like a 'casual' game compared to shooters and stuff, it's literally the MOST EXPENSIVE game. Loyal fans spend hundreds of dollars on this game so yes, we do expect to be listened to and get what we want, not some Star Wars BS.

Nah the pack wasn't supposed to have all those, it was always going to be focused on ONE of those hobbies which really sucks. But the thing is, they didn't even added a new occult, like there are no jedi or sith or at least force users. No, you just build your own lightsaber and boom, now you are cool. Like no, lightsabers are a symbol of force users, not just a cool object. And I also don't like the fact that the world and the story is solely based around the new trilogy because there are a lot of conflictual opinions around the sequels. If think it woukd have been cool if they had chosen the old republic as a stage for the game, adding the conflict between dark and light and focusing more on training of young jedi or sith. But then again there are already a lot of good star wars vidoegames so I don't really see the point. Maybe just a space themed something, maybe a mix between star trek and star wars soley focused on space travel would have been nice idk I write to much I am so sorry
The gag is Night Life for sims 3 is basically City Living, Vampires and Get Famous all in one and we HAD cars 💀 but also an open world 🥺 So yeah it's frustrating. They basically broke apart things from sims 3 expansions andade them different packs and things for sims 4. What I was getting at is that the downfall of that approach is that it gets confusing to new people who come to play the Sims since there are literally dozens of packs and you don’t know where to start. So although that approach may work to milk off existing fans that buy half ass packs in hopes to fill their game, it’s not straight forward to new users.
Get to Work is also such a half-assed version of Ambitions. Ambitions gave us 8 new active careers, tattoos, 3 new skills, laundry stuff, 5 new traits and the option to buy community lots to invest their money.

honestly as someone who loves playing with occult sims, this game pack holds no interest for me. Like i don't want a game pack made up of lore from another franchise, i want fully developed werewolves, mermaids, vampires, etc etc. And don't get me started on how they're splitting up sims 3 supernatural into as many different game packs as they can, even though the content provided in those game packs is literal DUST!
Im sorry for those who appreciate this but I seriously hope this flops.. I’m 20 been playing the sims franchise on the GameCube with my cousins at like 8, had my own sims 2 few game packs, Sims 3 had them all and I never felt like the game was lacking in any way but sims 4 really is not it I’m so disappointed. Chile just like Amanda said its like it turned into a toxic relationship 💀 It’s not complete and still lacking gameplay yet there are sooooo many content out and coming for it..

Here's the thing, I'm a Sims fan, a Star Wars fan AND a Disney parks fan, so theoretically this pack should align all my interests? It looks like garbage. What they've done is taken Batuu, which is the Star Wars land that's opened recently in the Disney parks, and made it in the Sims, brick for brick by the looks of it. Some of the Sims in there are just Disney Parks characters - like the black girl is called Vi and she's literally a walkaround character you can meet if you go to Disney; Hondo who's in the bar is a character from one of the rides. From my perspective of knowing all three of these interests aligning, there is no doubt in my mind this whole thing is just an advert for Disneyland/Disney World. Every thing they mentioned in the pack is just shit you can actually do in real life in the Disney Parks! Oga's Cantina (the bar), build your own droid, build a lightsaber, meet the characters, fly the Millenium Falcon - YOU CAN DO ALL OF THIS IN THE PARKS! choose which side you're on?? the plot they mentioned in the blog? Yeah, that's the canon of that world in the parks. Every point you've made I absolutely agree with, but I thought I'd just add this perspective too because like - as a Star Wars fan why would I play this out in a game, when it's literally an experience I can just have in REAL LIFE if I went to Disney? There is no gameplay because it's just a walking advert. And as you say, it just has no place in the Sims. It makes no damn sense. This is a sell out, plain and simple.

They did well with tiny living which wasn't massively wanted. But the community love it due to the team clearly doing research in that, clearly seeing the tiny homes trend and challenges in the sims. Even outside the sims tiny houses were getting bigger and bigger. However star wars wasnt something on the rise, it was never really affiliated with the sims community. After tiny living it feels like they stopped caring. They were in a good streak but now its getting worse and worse.

He said My First Pet Scam was a best seller. 🤮 But if you imagine a parent at the video game store, and you know nothing about this game, My First Pet Scam looks cute to buy for your kid. Periodt, I stopped buying expansions after sims 4 university. I see no reason to even attempt to give them money; I’m waiting for paralives and Little Sim World to freshen my life sim palette.

EA’s rights to the star wars licensure is about to end. last year EA had the highest rated game of the year, universally loved: jedi fallen order. so after that EA was like okay let’s make that game into a series!!! and fans were excited (me included)!!! but EA needs time to make these games and a lot of their previous star wars licensed games were very poorly received... so EA is basically trying to prove to daddy disney that they can sell star wars games. they’re trying to get their bang for their buck while they still have the licensing for star wars. they’re letting the sims players and the sims team SUFFER so that they can prove a point and make a buck. DONT BUY THIS PACK, LET EA LOSE THAT LICENSE AND LET THEM SUFFER LIKE THEY HAVE MADE US SUFFER. i’m the biggest star wars fan alive, but this ain’t fucking it.

I love fantasy stuff and i love ocults because you can create more storylines and the more story lines to go the better, but the reason i don't play around much is because aliens nor mermaids actually have their own worlds and stuff to play around with too much... I still don't get it why they do game packs for some occult then for others don't ... so not consistent and people who actually like occult can't rl enjoy them because they don't come with full potential ... Like mermaids could've have underwater world where you could build underwater shipwrecks, castles or weird mud house to live in and have some new plants and harvestables and animals even pets, be vegetarian or only meat eaters and then maybe there would be shore so you could interact with some human sims, you could sink or help stuck ships to get loot or kill sims ,mermaid clothing and furniture,skin details so on , now aliens have beautiful world too that would've been cool to have alien plants, alien pets, alien furniture, architect ,some alien foods, more alien features in cas race ,alien clothing... i mean sure they could easily do game packs to occults dunno why they don't do so and in general id say the 2 occult packs we have still lack a lot of stuff.... i say there are no bad pack there are just no creativity and details needed in them that's why mostly some packs just flop
De Monica I know. As someone who plays occults I completely agree with you! Mermaids could've done the scuba diving, and island discovery thing sims 3 had. There could've been a pirate cove or something with dungeons/ ruins like world adventures. The vampire pack had like 5 lots, some gothic furniture and nothing else. After you maxed the vampire skill tree there is nothing left to do. They could've had a larger world with vampires AND werwolves. Could've added in nectar making and had a special 'plazma nectar'. And realm of magic was the better one of the occult packs but it was still lackluster. There could've been so much more with spell casting and potion making. They could've done a bootleg Hogwarts instead of the tiny, ugly worlds they gave us. Like you could buy familiars but what did they do? NOTHING! We could've had the ability to have them fight like Pokémon and get simoleans for winning or something. Even the sparring was weak. They could've just reused the fighting mechanic from sims medieval . And all occults could have a multigenerational gameplay. For example: older wizards could teach their children. Elder vampires could have extra abilities. And given the things we had in the other games this would not be hard for the devs to create. But they are lazy, and EA wants to push out the bare minimum.
Nifty knitting was really the pack people were hoping could flesh out their elders but it barely added anything useful besides the rocking chair and maybe hanging plants

YES! But that's a problem with the game industry, in general. I've been saying the same. The Sims just isn't... rated high enough for someone who likes SW to want to play it. No one wants to see the bad guys settle down, have kids, and just be sneaky around the house all day, maybe be "mean" to a sim, sometimes. I want to play big battles, have cut scenes that are similar to the movie, a story to move me along. Sims 4 doesn't offer any of that in the first place, so why would this be my go-to for my SW fill? No SW fan would.

I'm a occult simmer but I love playing occult families and making stories with them. But I agree with all you said. And after playing Sims 4 more now because of the pandemic I'm very annoyed with how much the game is lacking even with occults. See my vampires can level up their vampire lore skill in less than a sim week, practically in one day pretty much. Spellcaster sims level crazy fast. Then what happens after they become grand master vampires or master spellcasters. Where's the consequences and the challenge that past Sims games had. Where is the lore? Pre-made sims in past games had so much lore. Sims 2 and 3 did this really well. Sims in Sims 4 don't have lore and some of them has specific bios but don't have the skills or relationships that are supposed to back up what's written in their bios. Then comes the loading screens. With the way have things set up cars will never be coming they've already stated that. So if you can't have cars or open worlds why can't we at least have open neighborhoods where I don't have to sit through loading screens to go to a lot that's LITERALLY right next to my Sims house? Plus there's literally no reason to leave the house. Literally all the events and objects your sims can interact with you can do in your Sims' homes. So is this a life simulation game or a cleverly disguised QUARANTINE simulation game? Because basically that's what this is.
The storylines of the premade families in the Sims 2 and Sims 3 were bloody fantastic. I still play the Sims 3 because of how good the story lines are and the fact there are literally dozens of premade families while in the Sims 4 you have like 4 families per world... they don’t even have the chance to have coworkers. Going back to the occult topic, the vampire pack I think it’s the best but in my opinion the world is really small. 5 lots is a joke. The realm of magic pack is even worse. The world is so mediocre and TINY. I was trying to recreate Harry Potter and I had to do it all manually in Widenburgh because the realm of magic world is so small. Also, I was attempting to make Voldemort a bad guy and there is almost no good vs evil kind of distinction. He looks just like a gothic sort of sim. It’s pathetic.
The fact there was a whole poll on what people wanted in the sims and the star wars pack was basically at the bottom of the poll (#22 I think). Honestly, what a cash grab, they gotta get a grip cause honestly the fact they aren't even listening to what the people that play the game actually want. honestly how humiliating for them.

Conspiracy theory, EA doesn't like the current sims community because we actually point out the fundamental issues they leave out like skin tones and babies being objects, and they think that if they get a new community like star wars fans, they won't know how good the previous games were compared to sims 4, and so they're not as likely to speak up and make a fuss when EA treats them like shit and doesn't add proper gameplay. That's why they're unashamedly trying to drive us all away from the game.

Because we are adults now and aware of this crap, but they forget that we wont stop playing sims either younger kids will pick up the sims to play so...they really tried, they really failed, and they really dont know their audience.
How many younger people truly would want to play Sims, though? I've got nieces and nephews who range in age from 11 to 19, not once have I heard of them or their friends talk about Sims. NBA video games? Yep. Minecraft? Yep. Fortnite? Yep. Stardew Valley? Yep. Call of Duty? Yep. Mario Kart? Yep. Zelda? Yep. Super Mario Bros? Yep. Sims 4? No. Sims, because of it's subject matter, tends to attract the older crowd, no matter what they do. Yeah, a lot of us started young, I started at 11 with Sims 1, but I don't remember hearing Sims being talked about among my friends.

Honestly, I hate playing with unrealistic things in game. I want more realism, meaning better babies, more options for kids/teens, disabilities, burglars, cars, tragedies, better family relationships etc. A Star Wars pack adds nothing substantial to the game. It’s crazy that modders, who aren’t getting paid by the Sims, make the game playable bc the sims team wants to be lazy.

No matter how many expansion packs you throw at this game, they NEED to first finish the base game. The motions are still the same. The gameplay is still the same. Sims don't know each other or interact unless your sim is nearby, there's no memories, there's no animations, the skin tones are awful- the game is becoming less and less a simulation and more of a decoration program.

Here’s something I’d like to address. Everyone’s using the word “want” instead of “need”. That’s the problem. Six years is a long time for a game. The base game “needed” toddlers and functional babies. The base game “needed” depth and age appropriate lifetime experiences (think prom and teens). The base game “needed” actual gameplay AS A BASE, not as an expansion. Six years have gone by and none of this has happened. The game is supposed to be a LIFE SIMULATION GAME, nothing else. Yes there’s builders. Yes there’s niche sub groups. But WE as a whole are supposed to be playing a LIFE SIMULATION game. What we have is a husk of a life simulation game with better graphics than the assumed best version of the franchise, the sims 3. Where’s the little moments we should have to make this game a real life simulation game (like learning to drive or showing your parents your report card?!?), because it is those moments that make up life in general.

Sims 4 is hands down the worst sims game out the entire franchise. Should been taken out back and shot a long time ago. I love sims 3 but sims 3 is where you can start to see the decline even though the game brought so many amazing features. You start to see where they cut corners, leaving island paradiso with terrible routing issues, never updating it to sims 64bit etc. Now here we are with sims 4, the a absolute crash and wreckage of the sims. I'm convinced they want to kill the sims off entirely..at this point I I'm not even excited about sims 5. I will gladly stay with sims 3 and 2.

The Sims 3 had a *solid* foundation that expanded upon The Sims 2's gameplay and success, so the 'scummy' packs back then were somewhat less severe as the game overall was already pretty great. EA/The Sims 4 trashes that legacy and tried (and failed) to build the franchise from the ground up with mediocre gameplay and half-assed DLCs. They are happily ripping their customers off because they have no competition.
and also those packs were FLESHED OUT and filled to the brim with all kinds of content for all kinds of gameplay and rarely felt like a sell out expect for select few. The Sims 4 just sucks.

Also, there was apparently a questionaire/poll/whatever with what we want in the game and Star Wars was an option. You know what place that ended up in? LAST. LAST PLACE. AND OUT OF ALL THE THINGS THEY MADE THAT. Come on EA, is the mouse money that good, huh? Of course we get Star Wars, instead of.. idk, skin colors that don't make you look sick. Way to many ashy dark skintones that make your sims look dead and way too many light skintones that literally look like the sim has fricking jaundice. Why tf are the skintones so yellow. Why. Why do we have fricking GREEN AND RED SKIN IN THE BASEGAME WITHOUT ALIENS, but not good realistic skintones. Why do we have CHEESE COLORED HAIR but not darkblonde. Where is the soft light brown. Where are the graying options for all haircolors and not just dark brown. WHERE IS ALL THAT STUFF THAT SHOULD BE IN THE BASEGAME AND WHY DO WE GET STAR WARS INSTEAD. I feel so sorry for the Sims team, being forced to work on this and knowing what kind of shitstorm is coming for them.

Nah the pack wasn't supposed to have all those, it was always going to be focused on ONE of those hobbies which really sucks. But the thing is, they didn't even added a new occult, like there are no jedi or sith or at least force users. No, you just build your own lightsaber and boom, now you are cool. Like no, lightsabers are a symbol of force users, not just a cool object. And I also don't like the fact that the world and the story is solely based around the new trilogy because there are a lot of conflictual opinions around the sequels. If think it woukd have been cool if they had chosen the old republic as a stage for the game, adding the conflict between dark and light and focusing more on training of young jedi or sith. But then again there are already a lot of good star wars vidoegames so I don't really see the point.
Maybe just a space themed something, maybe a mix between star trek and star wars soley focused on space travel would have been nice idk

What I was getting at is that the downfall of that approach is that it gets confusing to new people who come to play the Sims since there are literally dozens of packs and you don’t know where to start. So although that approach may work to milk off existing fans that buy half ass packs in hopes to fill their game, it’s not straight forward to new users.
Get to Work is also such a half-assed version of Ambitions. Ambitions gave us 8 new active careers, tattoos, 3 new skills, laundry stuff, 5 new traits and the option to buy community lots to invest their money.

I’m 20 been playing the sims franchise on the GameCube with my cousins at like 8, had my own sims 2 few game packs, Sims 3 had them all and I never felt like the game was lacking in any way but sims 4 really is not it I’m so disappointed. Here's the thing, I'm a Sims fan, a Star Wars fan AND a Disney parks fan, so theoretically this pack should align all my interests? It looks like garbage. What they've done is taken Batuu, which is the Star Wars land that's opened recently in the Disney parks, and made it in the Sims, brick for brick by the looks of it. Some of the Sims in there are just Disney Parks characters - like the black girl is called Vi and she's literally a walkaround character you can meet if you go to Disney; Hondo who's in the bar is a character from one of the rides. From my perspective of knowing all three of these interests aligning, there is no doubt in my mind this whole thing is just an advert for Disneyland/Disney World. Every thing they mentioned in the pack is just shit you can actually do in real life in the Disney Parks! Oga's Cantina (the bar), build your own droid, build a lightsaber, meet the characters, fly the Millenium Falcon - YOU CAN DO ALL OF THIS IN THE PARKS! choose which side you're on?? the plot they mentioned in the blog? Yeah, that's the canon of that world in the parks. Every point you've made I absolutely agree with, but I thought I'd just add this perspective too because like - as a Star Wars fan why would I play this out in a game, when it's literally an experience I can just have in REAL LIFE if I went to Disney? There is no gameplay because it's just a walking advert. And as you say, it just has no place in the Sims. It makes no damn sense. This is a sell out, plain and simple.

They did well with tiny living which wasn't massively wanted. But the community love it due to the team clearly doing research in that, clearly seeing the tiny homes trend and challenges in the sims. Even outside the sims tiny houses were getting bigger and bigger. However star wars wasnt something on the rise, it was never really affiliated with the sims community. After tiny living it feels like they stopped caring. They were in a good streak but now its getting worse and worse.

I love fantasy stuff and i love ocults because you can create more storylines and the more story lines to go the better, but the reason i don't play around much is because aliens nor mermaids actually have their own worlds and stuff to play around with too much... I still don't get it why they do game packs for some occult then for others don't ... so not consistent and people who actually like occult can't rl enjoy them because they don't come with full potential ... Like mermaids could've have underwater world where you could build underwater shipwrecks, castles or weird mud house to live in and have some new plants and harvestables and animals even pets, be vegetarian or only meat eaters and then maybe there would be shore so you could interact with some human sims, you could sink or help stuck ships to get loot or kill sims ,mermaid clothing and furniture,skin details so on , now aliens have beautiful world too that would've been cool to have alien plants, alien pets, alien furniture, architect ,some alien foods, more alien features in cas race ,alien clothing... i mean sure they could easily do game packs to occults dunno why they don't do so and in general id say the 2 occult packs we have still lack a lot of stuff.... i say there are no bad pack there are just no creativity and details needed in them that's why mostly some packs just flop

The vampire pack had like 5 lots, some gothic furniture and nothing else. After you maxed the vampire skill tree there is nothing left to do. They could've had a larger world with vampires AND werwolves. Could've added in nectar making and had a special 'plazma nectar'.
And realm of magic was the better one of the occult packs but it was still lackluster. There could've been so much more with spell casting and potion making. They could've done a bootleg Hogwarts instead of the tiny, ugly worlds they gave us. Like you could buy familiars but what did they do? NOTHING! We could've had the ability to have them fight like Pokémon and get simoleans for winning or something. Even the sparring was weak. They could've just reused the fighting mechanic from sims medieval

And all occults could have a multigenerational gameplay. For example: older wizards could teach their children. Elder vampires could have extra abilities. And given the things we had in the other games this would not be hard for the devs to create. But they are lazy, and EA wants to push out the bare minimum.
Nifty knitting was really the pack people were hoping could flesh out their elders but it barely added anything useful besides the rocking chair and maybe hanging plants

I've been saying the same. The Sims just isn't... rated high enough for someone who likes SW to want to play it. No one wants to see the bad guys settle down, have kids, and just be sneaky around the house all day, maybe be "mean" to a sim, sometimes. I want to play big battles, have cut scenes that are similar to the movie, a story to move me along. Sims 4 doesn't offer any of that in the first place, so why would this be my go-to for my SW fill? I'm a occult simmer but I love playing occult families and making stories with them. But I agree with all you said. And after playing Sims 4 more now because of the pandemic I'm very annoyed with how much the game is lacking even with occults. See my vampires can level up their vampire lore skill in less than a sim week, practically in one day pretty much. Spellcaster sims level crazy fast. Then what happens after they become grand master vampires or master spellcasters. Where's the consequences and the challenge that past Sims games had. Where is the lore? Pre-made sims in past games had so much lore. Sims 2 and 3 did this really well. Sims in Sims 4 don't have lore and some of them has specific bios but don't have the skills or relationships that are supposed to back up what's written in their bios. Then comes the loading screens. With the way have things set up cars will never be coming they've already stated that. So if you can't have cars or open worlds why can't we at least have open neighborhoods where I don't have to sit through loading screens to go to a lot that's LITERALLY right next to my Sims house? Plus there's literally no reason to leave the house. Literally all the events and objects your sims can interact with you can do in your Sims' homes. So is this a life simulation game or a cleverly disguised QUARANTINE simulation game? Because basically that's what this is.
The storylines of the premade families in the Sims 2 and Sims 3 were bloody fantastic. I still play the Sims 3 because of how good the story lines are and the fact there are literally dozens of premade families while in the Sims 4 you have like 4 families per world... they don’t even have the chance to have coworkers. Going back to the occult topic, the vampire pack I think it’s the best but in my opinion the world is really small. 5 lots is a joke. The realm of magic pack is even worse. The world is so mediocre and TINY. I was trying to recreate Harry Potter and I had to do it all manually in Widenburgh because the realm of magic world is so small. Also, I was attempting to make Voldemort a bad guy and there is almost no good vs evil kind of distinction. He looks just like a gothic sort of sim. It’s pathetic.

That's why they're unashamedly trying to drive us all away from the game.

No matter how many expansion packs you throw at this game, they NEED to first finish the base game. The motions are still the same. The gameplay is still the same. Sims don't know each other or interact unless your sim is nearby, there's no memories, there's no animations, the skin tones are awful- the game is becoming less and less a simulation and more of a decoration program.

Here’s something I’d like to address. Everyone’s using the word “want” instead of “need”. That’s the problem. Six years is a long time for a game. The base game “needed” toddlers and functional babies. The base game “needed” depth and age appropriate lifetime experiences (think prom and teens). The base game “needed” actual gameplay AS A BASE, not as an expansion. Six years have gone by and none of this has happened. The game is supposed to be a LIFE SIMULATION GAME, nothing else. Yes there’s builders. Yes there’s niche sub groups. But WE as a whole are supposed to be playing a LIFE SIMULATION game. What we have is a husk of a life simulation game with better graphics than the assumed best version of the franchise, the sims 3. Where’s the little moments we should have to make this game a real life simulation game (like learning to drive or showing your parents your report card?!?), because it is those moments that make up life in general.
I can’t believe we literally got recycled content before we got updated skin tones, functional babies, and cars.... and it’s not even that this should’ve all been in the game at the very beginning because it’s a LIFEEE simulation game, anyways EA got their cash :))

Abbie Jenkins it is broken and laggy but if you get a good computer and use some tips shared on twitter on how to make it run faster, such as downloading the steam version not origin version then it will work and be a lot more fun I can assure you that.

People have been BEGGING them for various things for years now - better skintones or a colour picker for sims, especially poc sims, a pond tool, hotels, cars, a real estate system, sims to have an actual personality, better family gameplay, better teen and elderly gameplay. Sims 4 is hands down the worst sims game out the entire franchise. Should been taken out back and shot a long time ago. I love sims 3 but sims 3 is where you can start to see the decline even though the game brought so many amazing features. You start to see where they cut corners, leaving island paradiso with terrible routing issues, never updating it to sims 64bit etc. Now here we are with sims 4, the a absolute crash and wreckage of the sims. I'm convinced they want to kill the sims off entirely..at this point I I'm not even excited about sims 5. I will gladly stay with sims 3 and 2.
I’m seriously convinced that The Sims is trying to market to a younger audience so that the simmers who have played TS2 and TS3 can’t tell the younger audience that they are splitting up the packs.

if they wanted to sell out to disney why couldn't they just release a star wars game pack... or like a whole disney world game pack that included stuff from star wars. adding a theme park to the game would have at least added gameplay and something for kid sims to do

EA didn't even want to add robbers to TS4 because they thought it'd be too scary, but they added a pack for a movie franchise that's literally about fighting a WAR against a crooked, evil government that's trying to take control of the galaxy? Make it make sense
