Yes I love that River it's a beautiful place I was raised a quarter of a mile from that River in Arkansas right across Missouri state line but I always be safe up there because that River will take your life I've lost a lot of friends to that River

The float trip was a day of perfection. But the hike through the woods and along the river in Van Buren, Missouri…….too die for. As you and Jen walked across that bridge and you looked over the water into the woods, it was like looking out into the Rain Forest. What beauty this country has and thanks to the love of water the Ridges have given us another peek at it.

First thing that popped into my mind was Moses wandering with the Israelites in the wilderness & God told him to speak to the rock & it gushed forth enough water for the whole entire nation of Israel, thousands of people. It may have been a lot like what you saw, the flow of water. Online they showed a 50' tall boulder with a split crevice warn from water eroding the rock away. Water is a powerful source of energy.
It sure seems like we are going in the opposite direction from last spring and summer. From no rain to nothing but rain. Last week when I finished mowing my lawn, it was time to start again. I got started removing and it rained for 2 days, but I’m back at it. When today comes to an end I should be about done.
