@@cornfedlife We also were looking at TN also, as ALL my family is there (except my kdis) and we looked HARD and a lot of prayers were said for guidance and the FAM REALLY wanted us in Tennessee, but we just couldn't find affordable land??? At least not for what we wanted to pay! Being cash only, we just couldn't justify paying more than twice as much for less land. So Arkansas was the real winner for both! :) Good Blessings and wishes for your journey also!

Another big factor for me would be living near a town where I can play soccer with other old guys in the park. That is one of the things I miss most about Oregon,. 😁 Do you see any of that going on around your area?

Average age of drivers is 72! (per our insurance lady) That's not to say it isn't here??? We just haven't seen it, and since we don't play soccer, it wouldn't have been something we looked for or at? There's tons of stuff for Veterans and Seniors though! LOL We just have to make sure we do all our shopping before they close everything at 4pm cause it's bedtime! hahahaha

I have been to several states, was raised in the Ouachtia Mountains, we have the most varied wildflowers the most beautiful creeks and the best people....and if you have a need for a diamond, you can go dig for one yourself free.....hummmm all this and diamonds too...who wouldn't love this place?

Jacob is our oldest son! (28) we have 7 combined! (All adults now) Jacob decided to sell his home in Ohio and start over with us in Arkansas too! So glad to have you along for the ride!
