The wife stole the show on this episode. Her comedy and filming skills are exponentially increasing impressively. Never laughed so hard from her subtlety! Keep up the great work guys! Every weekend is so much better with one of your new videos uploaded!
If you're having a hard time telling when the bucket on your tractor is level, keep an eye on the rod that runs parallel to the right hand hydraulic cylinder. You will notice that it is adjustable. You can set the bucket down on flat ground and adjust the rod to give you a visual reference from the cab. It will at least give you a good starting point until you get the "feel" of the tractor. I see the bucket has a bit of a "smile" to the cutting edge anyway but it will work fine for what you are doing! Thanks for the entertainment! My new favorite channel!
It's refreshing to see a little banter and teasing between these two. A lot of people are just too sensitive nowadays. Maybe I'm just too old-fashioned, but this is the kind of humor and interactions I love 😏
Buster is badass. Survived on his own for years. It's so nice to see him soften up. I adopted a couple cats from a shelter. It's amazing what love and a little patience can do. None of these videos are complete without a bit of Buster 😊
You have the dream property that I always wanted! As a light sport pilot, I wanted to be able to fly in and out of my property. That dream never came to fruition. Instead, I became a gold miner, but I didn’t choose the miner’s life…..it chose me. Take care you guys!!
@@HerbOMatic The same situation for me with mining. It was just a hobby, then I met my mentor Tim Fadda, the previous claim owner. My story begins from there. I’m trying to video document my experiences on my inherited claims. On a side note, every time I see the road grader in your videos, I always tell myself, “I’d get that thing running”.. That machine would kick ass at keeping your runways flat and smooth. Is it diesel or gasoline?
LOL we started here with living in a toy hauler with one cat too. 6 years later... we added a 300 foot driveway, cleared 50 acres, built a mudroom aka Arizona sun room....20 x 40 quanset garage, a covered patio, corral, Barn, wife 10 x 16 office, wife's two garden areas, All new appliances, a RV visitors location, a visitor dog yard, two miles of fencing, well pump, Cistern sprinkler systems, two Craigslist snow tractors, 12 chickens,14 ducks, 5 goats, one donkey, one mule, 3 dogs, 21 cats later..... and of course 2 old tractors and
That sling arrangement those guys had is pretty neat, as long as two guys can work together well seems like it's way better than a hand cart/trolley/ whatever you call those things.
Seen that carrying strap device some time ago and it makes the items they're carrying look super light and as if they are sort of floating. Couple of smart guys saving their backs and not dropping the appliances which makes the customers happy and get them good tips. 👍
I've used straps when delivering huge panoramic windows and security doors up the stairs in apartment buildings. It's crazy how heavy things two small guys can lift if you use straps and the right technique. A soundproof three layer panoramic window including the frame was closer to 200kg. But I remember I had to get used to the feeling of being "stuck to the load". If the other guy trips and falls, the load will fall and you are going to get pulled with it.
Made my Friday to see another Herb Aerodrome Ranch video. Look like you & the Mrs. made that Appliance Salesman's day at HD!! Getting good with the JD grapple too...always impresses the ladies!
I’m just working here at my restaurant listening to you guys, laughing my ass off & everyone is looking at me like, what is so funny ? You guys could take that show on the road, “Live in Los Vegas, One night only, Herb-O-Matic 💜💜💜
my watch later is about 116 videos backlogged still since we were without wifi for more than a week thanks to hurricane helene, but I absolutely watch these as soon as I can 🙏 Love the vids, y'all.
I have to say your place needs some work. However, your views and location are stunning!!!! When you guys are all said and done, you will have your own paradise. Keep up the good work, John, lol. You and your princess are funny as hell. Thx for the laughs !!!
When picking up debris like the carpet etc. try rolling your bucket forward until its vertical or perpendicular to the ground and "grabbing" the debris instead of "scooping". It only works for things that won't fall through the fingers of the grabber. It just saves you from picking up so much dirt. Just say'n.
Herb, you need to see if the land will provide some 2x2 and 2x4 timber then build a decent strong ground mount for the solar. That way you can build up a new solar aray without having to power down the old one. A decent 300vdc 10kw array will power your entire site with absolute ease.
The land needs to provide some lengths of steel so Mr H can make a strong solar panel frame that the wind can't _huff and puff and blow the things down._ Wood may just make a nice snack for the termites. A bigger storage for the daytime electrons so they can be used at night is in the plans I believe. If there is enough _blowing_ at night that may put a smile on faces with a wind turbine adding the the saved day electrons.
😂 I forgot about the termites... yes steel is best unless you use pressure treated wood. I dont know if termites will leave that alone. You can't go wrong with more capacity, if your batteries are on float at 1pm and the sun doesn't set until 6pm your loosing 5 hours worth of energy, so if you have a 1KW array that would be over 5KWH of energy you could have collected. Wind terbines are a very dodgey thing to go for, very expensive to install needing thick cables and a tower, turbines need a full site survey and an expert that knows what they are doing or you will just waste your money. One of those purchases that need a lot of research. If it was me I would spend my money on the solar and the batteries rather than a wind turbine.
Herb, the wife really seems to be serious about trash compaction. This would be the PERFECT TIME to hit her up for that John Deere TC5000 Can Crusher attachment.... Nothing more manly than more John Deere Attachments!
That was a honey bee @26:17 :-) they are docile. I have the same fridge and that top bracket is designed poorly make sure you keep it greased or it wears out quick. I had to print a new one
A hair dryer will soften the glue. For a easy removing of sticky tape. We don't judge! That beef and broccoli looks delicious. Clearing the brush back around your desert castle will help keeping the critters from visiting inside your home. Put natural product diatomaceous earth, at inside of the doorway which kills bugs . Don't use permethrin as it is toxic to cats. We don't want to hurt Buster.
Has battleborn or another lithium battery reseller contacted you for a collab? Power would be my primary goal. A good diesel generator would be essential in my book being way out there. Super interesting to watch and follow the progress!
Kiley nice “Kill Bill” reference, not sure how many will get that 😂. Where are the dogs, and you have some Cats as well.. when are they moving to the ranch?
Yaa there back !! Just sooo with they were longer .. 45 minutes video just seems to fly buy ( no pun intended) Cant wait to see you re modeling that site .... its gonna look AWESOME 😊
My neighbor told me one day to use the loader as a scraper . Tip the bucket forward all the way, use the edge of the bucket against the ground then go backwards.
After seeing the double deuce dominoe that the land provided, I think you've got 3 options for the name of your ranch. Double Deuce Ranch, The Hard Way Ranch, or Back to Little Joe Ranch.
I used to install Coke machines. One day I was moving a huge one, a Vendo I think, that was full to capacity, I think 535 glass bottles. Of course it was top heavy, and of course it fell on me. The cart distributed the weight favorably, and all I got was stitches in my knee. Also, your videos are great.
In the high desert of Southern California we had seen centipedes but no idea how they got in the house. Wind scorpions too. Boil some hot water and pour it down the drain. It'll either kill it or it may come out pretty quickly. I actually thought you would load that carpet in the truck & head to the dump but this way all the critters have material to make their winter nests out of. Now that's thoughtful! Buster is getting a lot more friendly! Nice little friend & good helper with critters (in the carpet LOL).
That bee didn’t want to sting you, she was just having a rest. It is fantastic that you have bees out there with the limited water points and flowering plants
You need a few tons of concrete for the front path. I suggest getting a concrete mixer and doing a few meters the whole way around the house angling away for a critter and water break.

I don't know if you have made an intentional double entendre or it's just a happy coincidence. 🤔
