I’m currently on a Ribble ALe which I love, it’s an e-bike but I very use the assist so considering changing. Although weight isn’t really a factor as it’s only 13kg anyway. I opted for e-bike as I was seriously unfit a couple of years ago but that has changed and I can do much more. I can’t recommend a gravel bike enough though, even if it’s just to work with the potholes on the roads.
@@jonfarcher nice, I having been looking at the Ribble AL, looks a lovely bike. Yeah even when I stick to the road, the lanes I use can be pretty rough so thinking of swapping out the road bike for something more versatile. Thanks!
Felt like i was riding with you, FB Canals and Old railways pointed me in your direction
Great vid! Jumped onto your channel From UK canals and old railways FB
Thank you, love that group. We have so many fantastic trails.
What bike do you use? I’m seriously considering a gravel bike, suits my type of cycling as routes like this are my favourite!
