I use magic eraser on my iron from adhesive interfacing. I tried just alcohol on my Fiskars mat and it didn't work well. i tried dawn/vinegar...nope, I use my mat for fabric and I made the mistake of making cards with glue/adhesive and memento ink on my mat. Thank you for showing me that my magic eraser will work.

I've been trying to clean mine and used a mr clean eraser but it was so-so, I didn't think to add alcohol. Can't wait to try that. Thank's so much.

Thank you for this! I was using undo and did have some vein popping but it did work for me. Now I will have to try the alcohol with the Mr Clean wipe.
I hear there are different Mr. Clean sponges, so use the one in the photo. See, I didn't know that part- we always learn something else don't we!
