According to a Vet at coastal animal hospital, a tablespoon of caned pumpkin in the food will help with Dottie's problem. A soft stool will not allow them to express, but a bit more fiber will bulk it up a bit and she would then express naturally. Yeah, I had to look it up. Random facts for a random mind. I can send you the link if you want.
Depends on the dog 🤷🏻♀️ some never need it, like my boxer and a chihuahua, but had a Great Dane that needed regularly . And a powder puff who needs it every so often. I worked as a receptionist at a vet and learned how to express glands, internally ( didn’t realize there was external method🤷🏻♀️) . Not hard to do btw.
When you go back to Mexico next you should swing by Imperial Dam LTVA north of Yuma on your way back and give us a tour. I'm curious as to if they have the showers repaired and working again. You can always just make it a one-day trip on its own for the sake of a video.
You know what would be great? Starting a onsite mentorship for people who want to start the desert lifestyle but don't know where to start. Maybe an area where people new to the area could congregate and not feel so intimidated. Myself being freshly out of a long term marriage it would be nice to meet new people and have a seasoned camper show me the ways of quartzside.

My happy place is Utah! Especially southern Utah with all the cliffs and Moab. Have you ever been?
Yes spent 10 days in Hurricane.

I don’t do anything for the sake of a video. My camera follows me - not the other way around.
@Dottietravels well if you ever find yourself at Imperial Dam, I hope your camera is running.
