Hi Rob! Smart N Final is definitely on the more expensive side, I have one down the street from me, but I don’t shop there. It’s a nice store, and usually well stocked though. I buy the 96% at Walmart for $6.83 per lb., the less fat gives you a little more meat, and better tasting and better for us, & our fur babies. Thank you as always for the valuable information!
😂my dog does the same thing. It is annoying and frustrating. She is extremely smart about a lot of things but has a stubborn streak in her i can not break. People have told me that Great Pyrenees are known for the stubbornness trait.
My dog does very good with plain pumpkin. I mix it in his food or give him a little treat. Thats expensive hamburger! My dogs done well on ground beef as well as ground pork.
Rob. If you go on Thursday you get there is a big discount on the meat I am a Smart & final shopper I go there all the time it's just right in my corner but I'm in California and the prices are not that high like it is out there I'll be heading out there on Monday
Google Maps will show any highway backups or accidents. We like Smart and Final; they have much better prices than Albertsons. Also, in the next few weeks, a Groceries Outlet store will open on the west end of Blythe. I shopped almost exclusively at the one in Desert Hot Springs; it has better prices than Smart and Final. We spend our winter at the Midland LTVA, located outside of Blythe.
Extra lean ground beef (96% lean) is thought to be overall healthier, but the fat content will affect the flavor of the final product. basically anything over 85% is probably a matter of taste, since Dottie has kept the pounds off.
My 4th year... And I have never been to Blythe... But I am tempted to go to the Sizzler Restaurant... Or go to Little Ceasars... 👀 I carry my refrigerator/freezer in my van (because of solar) and always have some produce in there so I don't want to be stopped... 👀
Your video reminded me that we need to go shopping as well. I was at Smart N Final in Yuma, and found some of their meat prices less expensive then Sams club. I am going to guess that everything is going to be more expensive in California. If you need a Sams club run to Yuma, I will drive. Bring a cooler.
That is the closest pawn shop to Quartzsite is in Blythe. Just some advice if you use them to pawn (get money for an item to end up buying it back for the money that was lent to you) If you do it often, readjust your finances lol. But it’s great for short term needs.
Hey, Travels with Dottie.. Sorry for your shopping price dilemma.. Ain't that a bummer. I'm half blind too, sometimes.. I got a question or a mission for you.. If I travel to Quartzite, will I be able to find Diet Sundrop Citrus soda there? Mountain Dew and others won't work. The internet says it's available at Food Lion. Is there a Food Lion grocery store in Quartzite? OR Will I need to stock up and bring a big supply with me. I gotta have my favorite soda or I'll dry up and blow away. Diet Sundrop and plenty of ice and water is all I drink.. For 67 years.. My mother even fed it to me in my bottle.. Oh, My Vet always said to feed my furry friends 80/20 unprocessed meat or even 70/30. Because their digestive system is a straight shoot and they're able to digest it easier and it keeps their poop a softer consistency so they won't get stopped up.. But, I guess those veggies you put in there might do the trick. I'm just saying.. and Have a good day.. Thanks Hoss
