Yes, I have my MG4 connected to my solar inverter on the second AC input. It powers the house loads and any spare goes into my solar batteries. The MG4 is better suited to this task than the ZS as I can get 30amps from the MG4 but only 13amps from the ZS.

Hi Emil. Yes . There is charge and discharge on the screen . Once I connect the adapter , it goes automatically to discharge function ( you have to click on start discharge now )
