Thank you so much
Thanks, I live in Whangarei and love my ZS ev gen 2, have not had to use the goo kit yet, thank goodness.
Thanks for the support.
The compressor can be used to inflate tire air if needed
very handy!
Tyre glue kit being $58 comes as quite a shock... at some point with a previous car I'd get around 8-10 punctures a year because there was a few construction sites on my way to work and sometimes the broken nails or w/e would just find their way in the tyre....
Hi Jerry! thank you for all your videos. I appreciate how much work it took you. In the future, I am thinking about purchasing an MG EHS. I have one but important question:
DOES THE MG EHS PHEV HAVE DIFFERENT TYPES OF HYBRID OPERATION? FOR EXAMPLE SPORT, ECO, NORMAL. Is there only one hybrid setting?
I would be very grateful for your answer.
Arek from Poland
Thanks for the support. The EHS PHEV only has one hybrid setting. No drive mode change.
Thanks Jerry, Do u know if fluids such as "Slime" can be added to the tryes for normal driving? These are meant to plug leaks from the inside as soon as they occur..
Definitely no. These are not supposed to be in the tyre under normal driving conditions.
Hi Jerry - can you use the kit to pump the tyre if you get a low pressure tyre warning? We were scratching around the West Coast of Tasmania looking for a petrol station with an air pump for days...
Yes it should be fine.
Hi, thank you for all your mg4 videos.
I have 3 questions and maybe you know the answer. Yesterday, my dealer updated my phase 1 information to R59. but i still have the same bugs from R46.
1. Left star button stack on regen mode selector
2. At custom drive mode, the pedal force is not changing and does not take action.
3. ACC doesn't react to gap setting. It show that it change the distance on the screen, but in reality, 1 bar and 3 bar are the same.
Maybe the dealer didn't update all the modules and modules with old versions, and the infotainment with the new version doesn't work well together?
Not sure about 1 and 2. But 3 looks impossible. You may notice it is similar at low speed but 1 bar and 3 bars on motorway are totally different.
Recently I drove on a dirt road and a stone took out the side of my tyre - this kit cannot fix a repair like this. it was in an area that did not have phone reception so I was stranded. Driving without a spare wheel is like driving an unregistered uninsured vehicle - extremely dangerous and it's only a matter of time before you're caught.
This argument can go on for hours. This is the new technology where nearly all EVs are getting. If you don't feel safe, get a spare.
The tyre guy said that they cannot repair it after using the slime.
That depends. Our local Bridgestone repaired a puncture tyre for us. That was after customer used tyre sealant and travelled more than 20km.
Tyre told me to never use the slime unless you have no option. Does anyone know if there is a space saver that fits.
