The word you're looking for is "ruffle"
Ruffle or Frill. Yep.
And before that... the shape you rolled it into.. either a snake or a sausage. :)
Or maybe even “pleat”
Folded fabric is called a 'pleat' like in a pleated skirt.. thinner folds would be called 'accordion pleats' (like in the musical instrument)
Then even finer (sometimes uneven) folds, are called 'ruffles' ❤️
I could agree but in this case I would rather use "double fold" term. Or "box pleat".
I've absolutely fallen in love with your content. As an esthetician, and - only by licenseure requirement - a nail tech, I've learned so much from you. Especially regarding nail prep. We did not get even close to the level of precision and attention to detail in school that you do for your clients. Truly perfect every time
It looks like the ruffles of a garter! So cute 😊
My favourite thing about you well one of my favourite things, is that you always give more options showing us how many different ways you can use a single product. It just opens the mind, the creativity and its endless. Most nail creators just do a set when showing a new product they don’t show the versatility. You are truly an educator and I greatly appreciate you. You’ve been so pivotal to my nail tech journey and I can’t thank you enough. You’ve made me look at a product and think of all the ways I can utilize it and get the most out of it. Another thing YOU DO NOT GATE KEEP!!! I love ya always will!!! Again Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Beautiful wedding ruffle nails! I love the look of these products. Perfect for fantasy designs.
This is my favorite name!
Wedding Ruffle Nails
Gorgeous wedding nails!
Wow they look Gorgeous!!!! Love it
The wedding nails came out so pretty! I bet your client was very happy with those! I love how you kept repeating that gloves need to be worn while handling the slime gel. I see so many people using their bare hands with it and I'm always thinking 😱🤦♀️ because they're just asking for a gel allergy by handling uncured gel. Born Pretty has really been coming out with some awesome products! I use so many of their products on myself lol. Their hard gel is my favorite these days. Great video, Anastasia! 💜💜💜
thanks Ana for sharing. they're so pretty! perfect wedding nails
Omg I love love love the wedding nails. Both sets look gorgeous. Great job!!!
Wow - what a great idea for 3D art that is still completely wearable! I was going to suggest "ruffles" as some others have. I think that is the most evocative of the shape you are creating.
Looks amazing!
These are gorgeous!!! Awesome job!!!
Beautiful wedding nails. ♥️
Love those products!
You always do such great work! ❤
BEAUTIFUL!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
These are fabulous!
Thank you for your videos! I learn so much! When you use the carbide tip to remove product, I now do the same. This works well with removing lifted polygel closest to the cuticles. Stay awesome! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
The chrome mirror top coat is a game changer, I do a base then top over the top of the powder and it never chips 😊 xxx
Amazing! I love what you did with this!
The wedding nails are beautiful
I love the ruffle fabric look!! It's so pretty. I bought some of the 3D gel in a beautiful transparent white and gold glimmer shade but have not yet used it. Now I have a great idea and a jewelry idea for it as well. Thank you for the inspiration ❤❤
Beautiful nails. Great products.
So beautiful. Love all your videos and gorgeous creations.
I love the wedding nails!
I need this in life!
I love these non stick gel glues! I have so many!
Oh Anastasia, another word you might be looking for is a " frill "
Like.. a sleeve or hem of a dress would could have a frilly or wavy edge or material.
I hope that helps? I think you speak English really very well, especially with your beautiful accent! 🥰
This is the second good review of Born Pretty from someone I trust. That slime paste!! I'm going to have to get some. That chrome top coat! The same.
Oh goodness Anastasia they're stunning one of the prettiest wedding nail design's I've ever seen...I've ordered the purple aurora gel I thought it'd work in those silicone nail moulds...thankyou for sharing I love my Born Pretty product's I think they're fantastic quality and well priced too...thankyou for sharing xo 💜💅💜
Beautiful!
Nails are gorgeous
Stunning ❤
I have the aurora gel in blue- green and pink. Also from born pretty. Absolutely love their products 😊❤. In fact my nails are done with them right now 😊🎉❤
Those ruffled nails turned out so beautiful ❤ Wow! I’m going to order me some of that stuff for myself. Thank you for sharing such amazing work 👏🏻🫶🏻
Thank you! 🤗
Anastasia, you're so creative! I love coming to your channel for inspiration, tips, and tricks! You always find the easiest and most efficient ways to do things! This set is absolutely gorgeous; you really know how to tie different trends and techniques together, all in one set! I bet you'd make awesome press on orders.. might even save you again on another photoshoot day after being sick 😂 Can you try Celina Ryden's Switch Nails?!
Very very pretty!
Looks like a garter 😉 absolutely gorgeous!
You are brilliant ❤🎉
love the nails! yes, veil would be correct and the shape is a worm/snake or a tube
Excellent designs!
The shape you were rolling would be cylinder I believe.
I use no wipe topcoat, cure for 30 seconds and powder usually gives perfect results. 💯🤩
I agree with "Ruffled."
Anastasia and fellow viewers: Are there other channels like this?
Anastasia, you're amazing; I've watched all of your videos at least 7 times. . I'm simply running out of nail content to watch! Do you have another nail artist content creator that you could recommend? I'm mostly interested in structured gel manicures, but I LOVE learning art techniques, too! I've learned a lot from you and Tatyana Bugry 🥰 I can watch your videos only so many times before I essentially have them memorized! ❤ I'm positive that there are more fantastic creators on here that maintain the same professionalism as you do, but the algorithm simply hasn't suggested any to me!
So gorgeous
Beautiful ❤You made a ruffle on her fingernails.
Pretty ❤
Winderful u love it❤❤❤❤
Woah! Fun! I'm starting to rethink the liquid chrome after watching this. (And was that a new blinged-out UV lamp?) Super fun video!
Ruffles......you made beautiful ruffles!😅
very nice!
These look beautiful, can I ask why you use your efile cuticle prep at 16 rpm I was always taught not to go any higher than 8 rpm, tyfs ❤
We can go up to 16rpm if we have good control on our e-file.🙌🏻
#prachichevli
This set came out amazing!! I definitely have to get some of these products to play with….looks like so much fun!! 🤗
Thanks for the video! 😉
Ps….Could you please put the link to the Carbide bit you’re using in the beginning to remove the gel polish and the lifting on the nail. Please list the Brand name and the grit, ie….fine, med, or course?
Thanks!
Liquid chrome? I must try it!
All these products make me so sad that I now have a gel allergy. Thanks for another great video, Anastasia!
What gel did you use to adhere the tips?
Where did you find your lemon popsocket
Thank you the video the products look very cool.
Can I put these products on the natural nails plate directly ?
Oh sure we can😊
#prachichevli
Is it possible to put black under the whole nail extension? They advertise this gel as looking good over black but I don't know if it will work if I put a black colour on my nail then put this extension over the top. Will it stick properly?
Or could I put base coat, black then another layer of base then this gel?
If you were to use this under the nail tip to adhere it like you showed in the video to give it the color underneath or clear to adhere it, when it comes time to remove it how would you remove that?
It’s definitely like a ruffled skirt or a pleated skirt
So Beautiful 🥰🥰🥰‼️💎👰🌸
Cylinder and ruffle
The "sausage" is a cylinder. 😊
Look amusing
Is all the products you use hema free?
Im still confused about chrome top coat. You rub it after curing or before?
❤
Pleated maybe?
Hi Can you please tell me what gloves you are wearing because unfortunately my gloves stick to the solid gel so badly I am unable to wear my gloves when working with it and I agree with you I don't think you should touch it with my bare hands Thankd
How do I book a nail appointment with you? 😊❤
Ruffles or roused lace
What crystals did you use on this design?
They look like green opal ones to me.
I would call ist sausage, yes (when you rolled it in your hand)
Can you give named carbide bit ? ;)
Do you think born pretty is a good brand (honest answer😊)
Sausage is a good shape. Or roll
Wedding veil nails
That is definitely a lace ruffle.
Yeah, don't use these kinds of products with your bare hands, too much exposure can give you Contact Dermatitis and you will become allergic to the nail products.
AND holy moly I NEED slime gel in my life!! Love the wedding nail design! The name of the effect you're looking for is called Ruffles, it's super cute!
You really should be wearing a respirator to file fibre glass resins like that. A simple cough/sneeze guard mask is not good enough. At the very least you need a mask that fits tightly around the face.
Looks like a ruffle
Hey, just wanted you to know that a user called paddie nails is posting clips from your video for their shorts and not giving credit.
folded fabric would be a ruffle... the sausage shape , i would think is a snake shape...
Reminds me of a garter belt
The "saussage" is called by some sculptors on TH-cam a 🐍, like Ace of clay call them Snakes of clay
Thanks for explaining 🤗
Please have a disclaimer if this video was sponsored or you got the items for free
Of course, I always add it in the settings of the video, you can see the disclaimer at the beginning 😉
It looks like a pair of ballerina shoes with ruffles.
It's bloody terrible..it only lasts two days on nails at MOST! 😑
Watching her put bubbles into the "non stick hand gel" was painful
❤
