- Welcome to my Deadpool & Wolverine Movie Review! Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman star in the latest MCU Phase 5 film as they jump through the MCU Multiverse to save Wade's friends. Here are my thoughts on the movie.

I'm a huge fan of X-Men movies, characters, comics, and yes, I really enjoyed X-Men '97. I really like First Class, Days of Future Past, Logan, Deadpool 1-2 etc. And I really liked Deadpool & Wolverine. I wouldn't say it's the best film in the world, but it has its own charm. The soundtrack here is simply magnificent. I especially liked how they work here with action and fan service, not ony cameos but how they connect each other detail to another. It’s not here for show at all, and if you’re a fan, you’ll really like what they came up with here. I didn’t expect the film to be anything sky-high, but I was waiting for it and these expectations were fully justified. I wouldn’t say that this is the “salvation of MCU” and that only good projects await us next, but this film appeared at the right time for the universe and it will definitely be remembered for a long time, unlike many projects of phase 4-5 that were... Which were not very high in terms of quality tbh. It’s too early to judge, but I’m definitely waiting to see what will happen to MCU next and whether they will be able to improve. I would give this movie a 9/10. It worth watching on the big screen.
This was a love letter to the marvel/fox pre disney movies. The cameos were a fun surprise. The dynamic between wolverine and deadpool was awesome.
The opening scene was absolutely crazy and my favorite part of the movie. I give it an 8/10 with it's major issue being too long-winded throughout certain scenes and dialogue. Other than that, a great time.
If you can watch it in 3d IMAX. Especially for the opening
My view is. If they were willing to make a joke of themselves through deadpool. I think they actually may understand their faults. I've got cope
I just got back from Deadpool & Wolverine and it was fucking fantastic. Between this and X-Men 97, Marvel is starting to be on the right track. They just need to not be overdue with 3-4 movies a year and multiple TV series that go nowhere. This movie had everything I wanted. The fact was great, the cameos were fun and some were completely unexpected. It also proved Disney is willing to do an R-Rated Marvel movie and it can work. We need more of this. That opening scene was insane and it just went crazy from there. They had the perfect combo of action, comedy, and seriousness. I do wish we could have seen more of Cassandra Nova during real evil, but a minor nit-pick. Ryan Reynolds found his perfect role and Huge Jackman shows why he was the right choice for Wolverine after 25 years of doing it. I'd say this is in my top 5 Marvel movies.

This couldn't save the mcu, the mcu needs a few hits in a row and then ok i think they are good but 1 isnt enough. I dont think people will be done with marvel for good, marvel just left a bad taste in people's mouths but a good streak will bring people back for sure

This is the type of movie from comic that would bring me back to super hero genre. I am still very skeptical of Disney
No, this movie alone will not save the MCU. But that being said, I absolutely loved it. I was laughing the entire time, the action was great and gory, and all the cameos worked perfectly. I also enjoyed how self-aware it was. It's a perfect love letter to the Fox Universe and the MCU.

Best duo some cameos made laugh others made me almost cried but for another multiverse movie I was expecting mutch more cameos or villains or different places or planets maby my fault overhyped myself but I mean is deadpool
I loved the 20th Century FOX tribute during the credits, you don’t really get to see that in films

The whole "save the MCU" is a ridiculous notion for any single movie because the MCU is a collection of films that gained notoriety for having higher quality than previous super hero related media. No one movie can save the MCU because it's reputation was built on years of quality and only years of quality will repair it.
What people really want is a direction they can get behind (not this poorly constructed multiverse nonsense) and for it to be around characters that people actually know and like (not the All New- All Different characters that have very little fan support and history to draw from).
With that being said, Deadpool & Wolverine is a 10/10 for being a Deadpool and Wolverine team up that's tasked with paying homage to the previous non MCU Marvel movies. A fan of Marvel couldn't ask for much more other than having Scott, Jean, Beast and Storm show up in their comic accurate costumes.
I’ll save my comments that I really wanna say for the spoiler video but I had an awesome time with it. Started a bit slow but once it started cooking it was pretty damn awesome.
People only went to see hugh as wolverine, similar to how people went to see Spiderman for andrew & tobey. Mcu is "restored" once they have a string of successes that isnt tied to bringing people back from fox & sony.
The next MCU project is the Agatha show and the Captain Falcon movie that has spent more time doing reshoots than the original shoot. The MCU is not saved. This is just a, as Deadpool once said, brief commercial break in the middle of a car wreck

GREAT MOVIE!!!! Loved this a lot & has a ton of rewatch value. The cameos were great! The comedy was fun and hilarious. Loved this movie and can't wait to watch this over and over again.

10:10 People literally HATED WandaVision/MoM/Quantumania solely bcuz they didnt have the character they wanted. Kevin Feige at the beginning literally said Phase 4 was focusing on the aftermath of Endgame so I knew not to expect all that yet.

Honestly I expected more but the comedy def landed and a lot of good cameos. Didn’t do much to push the MCU forward really.
I dont think so. The last "Feeling restored" movies relied on movies thats mostly nostalgia of the past 2 decades (no way home & this movie) if their mainline movies are floundering while the nostalgia bait is succeding its still a trash two phases
Overall it doesn't really set up something big.
It was nice seeing wolverine again and seeing some of the fox characters get a nice ending.
And the ending was good but like I stated it didn't set up something bigger and doesn't really leave me wanting more. It felt like a nice sendoff to fox universe.
Yeah that’s where I’m at as well. Feige gave it an 8 in terms of impact to the future but I don’t really feel that way. A good send off for sure but I also feel that secret wars will be much much bigger for the Fox/Sony universes.

The criticism this film is getting is getting out of pocket. Anything less than 9/10 is straight disrespectful. 10/10 and the MCU is back!

Ok hold let’s chill for a second……Endgame was not a great great great great movie. That’s reserved for Infinity War which is obviously the better of the two and possibly the best Super Hero movie ever. Endgame was just a great great movie
