indeed, second time around he rotted in there until I had literally nothing else I could do, challenges, side quests, hunting for clothing and satchel pelts etc all done (so far as was possible). Hell I spent nearly a week just looking for a Bull Moose haha

That could've set off events even worse for Arthur. Arthur is Dutch's best gun and most competent gang member under massive stress. Any everyone knows it. If Arthur returned without Micah, everyone would have been infuriated with him. Especially Dutch, who clearly told Arthur to get Micah out. At that point, leaving a member of the hang behind wasn't even an option to consider. And a point in which Micah hadn't given anyone a reason to suspect of going against the gang's great interests. He was just an ass. So they'd view Arthur as insubordinate to Dutch, and as a traitor who practically killed Micah himself. They had some serious rules. They very well may have had to kill him for such a crime against camp law. What seems better isn't always as it appears. Every choice can lead to good or bad consequences. It's the ebb and flow of the life.

I needed this video. Just having beaten the main story (will play through the epilogue soon) and having played as a thin, ailing Arthur Morgan for the past while in scenarios that were just getting darker and darker had me down but this cheered me up. What a character though. He's been through hell and back. His whole life was a tragedy and deep down inside there was a good honest man. Arthur made you laugh and made you cry and everything in between. Thank you Rockstar. You hit it out of the park with RDR 2.
