We all do!! Sonic can be a good character to play with or fight against as long as you’re FIGHTING. Camping sucks and spamming spin dash also sucks and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone lmao

3/4 of my cast are in Elite Smash. My Sonic… no matter how hard I try, how patient I play, is sitting at a nice 700,000.
Yes… seven hundred thousand. You need like 13 million to get into Elite Smash these days.
Oh yeah definitely, elite smash number keeps rising and rising and it just won’t stop haha. Also honestly Sonic can be difficult to learn. Idk if it was the same for you but for me, it was difficult at first because since he’s so fast, I had to time the inputs and action commands on time. And combos would be a little hard for me, but once I learned, I main him and been having fun ever since 😁👌🏼

I agree about Sonic, I tried playing him super aggro recently, going in with an open mind- and I actually found it REALLY fun, his strings are really free-form and you can chase people down *hard*. It's just a shame it's the vastly less effective way to play the character in his current state, lol
Edit- one specific thing that's too cool not to shout out is the combos you can get off of backwards homing attack. You can do up air strings off it at low % can be huge and back air after it for kills feels c l e a n

And yup I agree Sonic aggression is an insane and different experience but it’s way to fun to play as compared to the boring, dull spamming spin dash and camping. Also I AGREE with the backwards homing attack combos. Satisfying, easy and CLEAN confirms to do 👍🏼
