    I love all your tutorials!! You really do a great job of showing the person on the other side of the camera how exactly to weave the collars! How do you go about doing your measurements for each collars amount of paracord, microcord, and buckle and D rings, ? So if I wanted to make it smaller than 20 inch or larger what would your formula be for paracord amount, microcord amount, and buckle and DRing sizes? Love your work! It’s really got me into something I enjoy doing, and I’d like to start my own custom pet line in my state with all sorts of items including offering all of these collars for all sizes. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

    I need to find something to make sure my reins are safer when I melted the paracord after weaving in at the end of placing the clasp my paracord doesn’t seem to stay good when melted to the other. Any ideas I want to keep the pretty look I did black and white

      hi teresa, your comment doesn't seem to match with this video? the reins video shows a couple of different ways to end your reins, other than these, you could wrap some paracord over the end up to the buckle (around 2 inches)? that's all i've got sorry.

    Is there a formula for to figure out how much cord you need if you want to make a different size?

      @Peacedonkeys  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi jade, the cords given in the video are for a 20 inch collar. if you wanted to make say a 25 inch collar, 5 inches is one quarter of 20 inches, so you would add on one quarter of that amount to what is listed. if you wanted to make say a 30 inch collar you would add on half of what is listed etc. hope that helps? all the best with your projects!

      hi leeslie, here is a link so you can see how many cm in inches. learn-java-by-example.com/java/convert-inches-centimetres/ most places in the world have tapes with both on each side, maybe try your local hardware shop?

    Can you make a Paracord Wither Strap?

      hi running red, i have never used one, but i reckon it would be exactly the same method as loop reins which i have already made a video of. see the link to the video here: th-cam.com/video/q6-s1hFTaoo/w-d-xo.html. let me know how you go.

    how much do they sell for if you dont mind me asking

      hi michael, not as much as the time and effort you put in! in the past i charge the cost of the cord and buckles/d rings, plus whatever hourly rate you want to charge. i usually charge around $10 per hour for a 2 hour collar, but sometimes you just know that no one is going to spend that much on a collar that takes you 4 hours. if you are doing it as a hobby as long as you get your materials back, then that is a cheap hobby compared to say horses or boats!!! . if you are doing it to make money you're in the wrong job! all the best with your projects.
